August POV

"Leah," Mary Margret's voice rang through the room. She and David came around the corner and their faces grew worried when she wasn't there.

"Where's my daughter?" David asked.

"I was really hoping she was with you," I said.

"Well, she's not so where the hell is she?" David yelled.

"Calm down, I'm not the enemy here. She left to go find Gold, she had a manuscript with her that gave all of the villains happy endings without hurting the heroes' stories. She was going to try and convince him to let her write the stories instead of Isaiah, the other author that came out of the door, but she left hours ago," I said.

"You let her go after Gold alone?" Mary Margret asked.

"I tried to have her go to you and Emma first I truly did, seeing as I was too weak to accompany her, but she wouldn't listen. She thought she could take care of this alone and I had to believe that she could, but now I see that I made a mistake," I said.

"Keep resting, August, we'll start looking for her. In this family we will always find each other," David said, and the two of them left.

Mary Margret's POV

"Did you find Leah?" Emma asked as we all sat in Granny's after Henry was back safely from Cruella.

"No, we've checked every place that we could think of. Wherever Gold is hiding her, he really doesn't want her found," I said.

"Well we have to find her, the only person who can truly stop what this other author and Gold have planned it's her," Regina said.

"Have you tried tracking her phone or getting a locator spell from Gold's Shop?" Emma asked.

"Tracking her phone led us to a dead-end and we were hoping to find her without a locator sleep but it may have to come to that," David said.

"Good, go get one and get her back by the time Regina and I get back to town," Emma said then left the booth.

We saw off the two of them and then made our way to Gold's Shop. I had one of Leah's favorite sweaters with me. Belle was able to get a potion for us and he followed the sweater deep into the woods and it landed in front of Zelena's old home. David and I got out of the car slowly and made our way toward the sweater.

"Leah?" David yelled.

"I'm here," her voice called from under the cellar doors. David broke the lock with his sword and we got down inside.

"Are you ok?" I asked.

"Are you hurt?" David said after me.

"I'm ok, just really hungry and really thirsty. Gold threw me in here and then didn't give me much thought after that," she said rather weakly.

"Then let's get you home," I said.

David broke the lock on the cell door and Leah tried to stand but fell just as quickly. David passed me his sword and picked up our daughter.

"Thanks," she whispered.

"Let's take her to the hospital, just to be safe," I said and David nodded.

I sat in the backseat with Leah and David sped down the road to the hospital.
