Leah's life (a Once Upon a Time fanfic)

Chapter 2

They were gone for three weeks. Red stayed with me at the castle for the first week and a half. Then the dwarfs took over for the rest of the time. It was mostly Grumpy or Sneezy that was there.

When they came home I ran up to them and gave them a big hug.

"Hi sweetie! How was your time with Red and the Dwarfs?" Dad asked.

"Great we played, cleaned, and cooked! And Grumpy took me down to the mines for the morning! It was so fun! I got to watch them make pixie dust," I told them with joy!

"Wow," he replied

"There was an emergency in the mines and Red was busy," Grumpy told them.

"Alrighty then, what do you say we go inside and have some lunch?" mom asked.

"Oh yes! I made your favorite, ham and cheese," I told them and ran inside to set the table.

We ate lunch and talked some more. Then we got back to the normal things. Balls, meetings, and play time. But every night I would always fear that Regina would come. One night I couldn't sleep at all I heard something. I walked down the hall to my parents room and opened the door. Mom was out of her bed sitting on the floor. I walked in a little further.

"Leah what are you doing up?" mom asked.

"I.. I couldn't sleep and I thought I heard something" I told her.

"Well what you heard was me, dear. I could sleep either then I rolled right out of bed, I'm surprised your father has not woken up yet." she said, "You want to sneak into the kitchen and grab some milk and cookies?" I nodded.

She got up and grabbed my hand, we were off to the kitchen. We found the milk and cookies and sat down. We just laughed, but nothing was funny, we just laughed. Our laughter was interrupted when dad came in. He looked at us with a confused look and we just laughed. He just shrugged his shoulders and we gave him a cookie. I sat on his lap as we all just forgot bad thing. We were a family, that's all that mattered. I fell asleep on my dad's shoulder and they brought me back to my room.

About two month later mom and dad told me I was going to have a baby brother or sister. I was so excited I always wanted to be a older sister!

Four month later it was my fourth birthday.

Birthday time! It was amazing everyone was there, and I mean everyone. I was in my mom's pink dress that she wore on her birthday. The presents were great my favorites were Red and Granny's basket they made, Pinocchio and Gapeto's wooden doll house, and my parents gave me a horse named Pepper.

One day when I was walking around one of the bed rooms we didn't use was open. I looked in and there was a girl with black hair and a black cape. She looked at me and I walked away. When I did I forgot what I was doing so I just walked to my parent's room.

"Hey mom, who's that girl in the room down stairs?" I asked.

"Oh yea I forgot to tell you, Reds daughter Raven is staying with us so you probably saw Raven. Did you bring me those craft sticks?" she replied.

"Oh that's what I was doing, I'll go get them now," I said.

5 months later we went to see Rumple. He told us about the curse. As they were all talking about it I was on the floor playing with Pinocchio. The blue fairy told us about the tree and it was our only hope. Mom said good bye and the baby started to come and dad told me to go in the other room. I got lonely so I went down stairs to the ball room and there was someone there. I recognized the black cape it was Raven. I think she saw me because she ran and I followed her and she ran in to my dad. I caught up and then she started running again.

"Come on dad! Help me get Raven," I told him.

He followed me and she ran out the door and dad stopped me. She waved and I waved back.

"Oh Leah, I almost forgot what I came down here for. Emma is born and we want you to come be with us," he said.

"Ok let's go!" I said.

As we walked further in the castle I got scared. I wasn't aloud done here. We got to a room and all that was in there was a mirror.

"W..where's Emma?" I asked.

Black smoke filled the air. When it cleared it was Regina she was posing as my dad I ran to the door. She locked it.

"Emma? I have known idea where she is dear, but what I do know is that you're going somewhere you'll never see anyone you love again," she said.

Before I could say a word, she push me though the mirror.
