Leah's life (a Once Upon a Time fanfic)

Chapter 40

(Hi everyone, sorry the update is a day late. I realize now that Wednesday is a very busy day for me so this update day will be moved to Thursday's now. Sorry)

"i think we are about to find out," dad says and then the silhouette comes into view and it's Red.

"My names Red," she said, "I'm a friend of Snow's. She sent me here to help you get into the castle."

"How?" Dad asked as I smiled knowing what would happen next.

"You'll see," she said, then removed her cloak and turned into a werewolf.

"How?" dad asked.

"Come on,  time to get my sister back."

We arrived at the castle entered into the underground prison entrance and dad knocked out the guards. I through Red's cloak back on and we all headed to find Emma. 

"Wait someones coming," Red said starting to take her cloak back off when Emma came bolting around the corner.

"Emma."

"Leah."

"We got to get put of here and find where this belongs," she said removing the ring from her finger.

"I believe that belongs to me," dad said.

"Come on, lets go. Snow told me where to meet up with her," Red said.

"That you Leia," the woman that I had just now realized was with Emma said running past us.

"Emma you know you can't do that," I said.

"She was supposed to be executed in the morning.I could just leave her hear to die," Emma said.

"But if she was supposed to die then she has to. We cant change the past anymore then we already have," I said whispering the last part.

"Sorry to break up the reunion, but we have to keep going. We have to find Snow White," dad said. Then we started to run along with the others.

Red took us through the castle but Snow was not were she said so we searched the rest of the caste. We were in the hall and I looked toward the window and my breath hitched in my throat.

"What is it? Did you find Snow?" Emma asked running toward me.

"Unfortunately," I said as she saw what I did.

Snow White standing on a scaffold waiting to be burned.

"We have to get down there. Before it's to late," Emma said.

"I don't think we can," dad said.

"No," we said together in a whisper. Then we grabbed each other in a hug and watched our mother burn.

Emma and I sat at a camp fire silently. "We can't keep reliving it. We just have to figure out the here and now." I finally said.

"Here and now. Wait, Leah, we are still here. How is that, we watched her die? That means we were never born," Emma said.

"We should have faded from existence," I said.

"Which mean she might still be alive. If Snow's still out there we have to find her," Emma said.

Then a bug started to fly around my face and as I was swatting it away I remembered what my mother said about the fairy dust. I stopped swatting and placed my hand out for the bug to land on.

"Found her," I said.

"Don't harm that thing," Dad said then explaining what the fairy dust did.

"So Snow turned herself into that?" Emma asked.

"Well if she timed it right. she could have escaped that fire ball and flown away, faking her death," dad said taking the lady bug from me. "Yup that's her. Now we just need to find away to bring her back."
