Leah's life (a Once Upon a Time fanfic)

Chapter 29

The next morning we all went to Neil's funeral. We all put a shovel of dirt into the ground and Henry and Raven did it too. As sweet as it was to see them it would have been a more secure moment for everyone and him if he had his memories back. After the cementry we all went to Granny's. I sat in a booth with Henry and my parents then Emma came over and introduce Hook to Henry which I knew was happening. Emma wanted me with her for the rest of this Wicked Witch stuff so he was going to watch Henry. Then the peace was ended when Zelana came slamming through the closed door of Granny's Cafe. 

"You picked the worst timing witch," I said. 

I slid out of the booth and when Zelenna saw the magic coming from my palm she blew me against the counter and everything went black. When I awoke I hear her say, "Meet me on Maine street at sun down." Then she left.

My head was bleeding and I had know idea what had just gone down in this place. 

"What did she do to you," Mom asked running over to me the best she could.

"Nothing. I'm fine Mom. What happened in here," I replied.

"No it's not your heads cut," she said.

"Leah, we need to get you some help," Emma said.

"No,  someone needs to tell me what's going on," I said trying to stand but fell to weak.

"I'll explain it on the way to the hospital," Dad said.

Dad drove me to the hospital and explained to me all that had happened while I was knocked out. But that only took all but 5 minutes and the drive to the hospital was 10. The car was silent, which is something I'm not used to, L used to never have enough time to tell him all the things I wanted and now I had nothing to say to him.

"Come on Leah, your going to let the two of us sit in silence. We used to never shut up around each other," he said.

"And there is somethings I've wanted to tell you but there not for a now 3 minute car ride," I said. The car feel silent again and by the time I had the courage to say all the things I've been feeling about the Enchanted Forest we were pulling into the drive way of the hospital. Dad had to leave after I was situated in a room. After an hour or so a puff of green appered and then dissolved into Zelana.

"Feeling better," she said.

"What do you want Zelana," I said.

"To warn you. If I see your face out on these streets tonight bad things will happen," she said.

"Oh I'm sorry I thought they followed you around. And you don't have to worry about me, they're having me stay over night and unlike some people I listen to them," I said.

"Still incase you get any ideas. Starting at six no going outside this place," she said.

Then she puffed away.

The next morning I was released from the hospital and walking into the waiting room and Raven was the only one in there. She ran up and hugged me.

"You ok Rae," I asked.

"Sort of. I thought you could maybe get me an appoint meant here. I keep getting these visions. In one Henry kissed me on the cheek and the other someone shot my arm. It's all weird and driving me crazy I can't stand next to sertain people without getting them," she said.

I got worried, what do I say. Of course she would have these. Of course her Alpha and wolf magic would have an effect on her here. 

"I think you need to just those insomnia pills again. I'll pick you up some on the way home," I lied.

"No it's not that!" she yelled.

"Rae calm down," I said.

"It's this town, this place. It's not normal. You and Aunt Emma haven't been the same sense we can. What are you not telling me," she said.

"This in a totally... ok fine so it's a little weird. But you have to get us to it. This was my favorite place I've lived. I'm sorry that your not having fun sweetheart," I said.

"Mom I'm sorry I shouldn't have freaked out. I promise to give this place a chance. If you liked it so much then it's probably the best place in the world," she said.

"If you like it at the end of the month we can stay if you want," I said wrapping my arm around her and walked out of the hospital.

"Maybe we can. Only if I like it though," she said.

"Of course. Now let's go eat, hospital food is gross," I said.

We walked down to Granny's and Ruby brought us food. After we finished I got up.

"Raven, can you go find your Aunt and stay with her. I need to do something. It shouldn't be more then a hour," I said.

"Sure" she said.

"Great. See you all later," I said.

As I walked out I pulled out my phone. I texted David 'meet me at Gold's shop ASAP.' Then I walked to Gold's.
