Three weeks later

"Emma, remember the favor you owe me? I'm cashing it in know," Gold said coming into our house.

"Ok what is it," she asked.

"Your going to come with me to find my son," he said.

"One, how do you know where he is? Two how are you going to cross the town line?" I asked. This is not what I expected from him. They can't just leave to find him, Neal would never forgive me.

"I found him with a location spell on a globe. And I've got the town line cover, we live at 5," he responded.

"Wait you can't just take her and leave," dad said.

"Yes, I can she owes me a favor and she is intended to keep it," he said.

"I agree with him. Emma you can't trust that his plan to cross the town line will work," I said.

"It sounds like fun. Can I go?" Henry asked.

"Sure you and your mother can meet me at my shop at 5, and not a minute late," he said and left with out another word.

"Emma you can't be serious," Dad said.

"I made a deal guys, that not something Gold lefts slide," she said.

"What if his son doesn't even want to be found," I said.

"We have to try Aunt Leah." Henry said.

"We shouldn't be gone for to long." She said.

"Call us if you need anything," Mom told her.

I ran upstairs and tried to call Neal but it was no use. I looked out the window and saw a blue jay with something stuck to its foot. I held him and took it off. Another note.

'For love is what holds her together. The people that she loved could tear her down. But love is what she keeps. Joy is what she shares. Stay close to she and share her love.

To my Leah,

Love August.'

I read and laid back in bed. 'I hope Emma's ok' I thought.

I woke up the next morning and went downstairs. Mom and Dad where downstairs already waiting for me.

"Hi," I said.

"What do you have planned for today," Mary Margret asked.

"I thought I'd go down and help at Granny's, get somethings off my mind," I said grabbing my coat.

"Your mother and I are always here to talk if you need us," David said.

"I know. But can I go now? I wanted to get there early," I asked.

"Of course sweetie. Bring home lunch ok," dad said.

They looked concerned as I left but I just brushed it aside.

I tried to call Neal again but he still didn't answer. My phone started to ring and my heart start to beat fast when the caller ID read Emma's name.

"Hey Emma. What's up," I asked.

"Hey Leah. Mary Margret said you where at Granny's and I didn't want to disrupt anything but I really need to talk to you," she said.

"No, your fine I'm going home now anyway. What's up? You sound stressed."

"Well, the good news is that we found Gold's son. And the bad news is that he turned out to be Henry's father."

"What! Neal was Henry's father the whole time? I thought he was someone else's kid."

"No, he was the only person I ever dated. Wait how do you know about Neal?"

"Ya, about that, he may have help August and I write the book and lived next door to me."

"That would have been helpful," she said.

"I know I would have told you but you guys just left. Wait why is it a big deal that he is Henry's father? Didn't you ever tell his about this dad?" I asked.

"I may have told him that his dad died in a fire."

"What!? You lied to him?"

"I mean, Neal was a thief. I though he would be in jail or something and Henry would never have the chance to meet him."

"If you are the only one who has found him right now you need to keep Henry away from him until you can tell him the truth."

"Ok, I got to go. Thank you so much Leah," she said.

"Of course," I said.

We hung up and I waked up the stairs to the house. I got to the door and found another note. I folded it up and brought it inside to read later. I set the food down on the table where my parent were sitting

"Did Emma call you?" dad asked.

"Yes that's what I've been doing this whole time," I replied.

"Crazy right," he said.

"I just hope it all gets handle well." I said, praying that Emma would just take Henry and Gold and leave, "I'm going to take a shower. I brought some lasagna for lunch."

I went up to my room and grabbed close to change into. The note from the door fell out of my hand and I opened it.

'The voice of a humming bird does she have. Soft and sweet is it but sometime you can hear it. Her mind as strong as a owl. Wise and strong is it yet we think not.

To my Leah,

Love August.'

I fell on my bed. I loved these notes, they give me hope that I would see him. Then my happiness was interrupted by dad.

"Oh good your still in here. There back," he said.
