Chapter 10

When we arrived at the shop David and Mary Margret hugged Emma and I. 

"Hey, dinner at Granny's on me!" Red shouted.

I helped Raven there, as we walked Leroy came up to us.

"Go up there, be with your family, Snow's looking for you, I got her," he said.

"Thanks Leroy," I said.

I looked around and spotted my mom.

"There's my little girl," she said.

"Hi! I missed you," I said.

We got to Granny's. Everyone got beer and we celebrated.

Tomorrow morning Emma and I head out to Granny's to talk.

"So Emma, is there any you really want to know before I explain my past?" I asked.

"Just a few things. Henry told me you wrote the book," she asked.

"Ya I did," I said.

"So did you know Henry before you got here," she asked.

"Depend on how you put it. I knew you had a kid, I didn't know him personally," I responded.

"Then how did you know to write the book," she asked.

"Well again it depends, I wanted him to have hope and I knew he was here though my necklace," I said.

"Your necklace, how did you know with your necklace," she said.

"Because if I take it off and spin it I came see who I want, kinda like a magic mirror," I said.

"Ok, but you're married to August?" she asked.

"Yes, I am, it was nothing big I didn't even have a dress after he proposed we went to the court house and asked for a wedding papers and it was done," I told her.

"Ok and where did you live before you came here," she asked.

"In an apartment, a floor above you," I said.

"A floor above and we never met," she said.

"Nope, never, but hey, we're here now and that's all that matters, right?" I said.

"Right. I just wish I could have known you before. I think we could have been great friends," she said.

"And we still can. Trust me I wanted nothing more for the past 28 years is to meet you," I said.

"Why didn't you," she asked.

"Timing. And August was all about timing and stuff like that," I said.

Henry came running in and sat down next to Emma.

"Hey kid, ready for school," Emma asked.

He nodded and I got him a hot coco for the road and Emma and I walked him to school.

I woke up the next morning and mom was sitting on the end of my bed.

"Morning. You know what? I missed you waking me up like this," I said.

"I missed it too. Your father said you wake up early and I want to talk," she said.

"I'll make breakfast," I said.

"So where have you been? And why weren't you in Story Brooke from the begining," she asked.

"Ok, so Regina push me through the mirror portal and I landed in New York. A nice couple took me in and cared for me until I was 18 and me and August ran off to find everyone. When we finally figured it out we also found out there was a curse. Long story short we found Neil and wrote the book, brought it here, waited for the curse to lift, then August left, and I left and here we are," I said.

"Oh, you know the minute you weren't here I thought Regina had killed you," she said.

"Yep so did a lot of people," I said, "but I don't think she would have the guts to kill her step grandchild."

She laughed and I laughed with her. Dad walked down stairs with Henry and Emma.

"Apple cinnamon pancakes and orange juice anyone," I said.

They all sat down and ate. Henry looked at me and I shook my head no. I knew he was wanted to know if I told Emma about his crush.

"I was thinking tacos for lunch. Emma, Henry, you want to come with me and get the stuff," I said.

"Sure," they said at the same time.

We finished our pancakes got dressed and left. Henry held Emma and I's hands and we walked to the shop and got what we needed. We walked home and I went up stair right way to find my phone to play music. As I came down mom and dad were walking up the stairs wrapped in a blanket. I rolled my eyes and started the music and got cooking with Emma and Henry.
