Spencer Reid - One Shots

Tired

It had been a long case and Spencer just wanted to go home. After spending a week away from his girlfriend, (y/n), he was looking forward to cuddles and sleep.

He finally walked into your guy's shared apartment, however something felt very off. All of the lights were off. This wasn't normal, because you promised him that you would keep a light on whenever he came back from a case. And when he flicked on a light and didn't see you in the living room, he knew something was wrong.

Spencer pulled his gun from the holster and held it close to his side. He went through every room, throwing his gun up when entering. The last room was your bedroom.

He turned the light on and there was nothing. You were no where to be found in your guy's place. He walked back into the living room to grab his phone, and that's when he saw it.

You had been asleep on the couch the whole time. He took a long heavy sigh, then smiled at his sleeping girlfriend, walking over to her.

"Hey baby, wake up please" He spoke softly shaking you lightly.

"Hm" You hummed slowly opening your eyes. And when they at last open you saw your boyfriend, seeming worried.

"Hi" You said with a ragged voice, while rubbing your eyes. "What's wrong love"

"It's nothing..." He trailed off, brushing his thumb over your cheek. "I just- I just thought you were gone. The lights were off and I was just scared."

You sighed and looked down to the ground, then looked back up at him. "I'm sorry I did that. I had a migraine and everyone always told me to turn off all the lights so I did. Although I did leave a candle lit, I guess it went out though.."

"It's okay." Spencer said reaching his arms out to you. It took a minute before you wrapped your arms around his neck, for you were confused at first.

He held you close and tightly. After a few minutes of being in each other's embrace, Spencer had started to fall asleep, you almost didn't notice but his head started to fall off your shoulder.

"Hey Spence. Spence!" Patting his back to help wake him. His head jerked back then his eyes met yours.

Without saying any words he picked you up, and carried you into the bedroom. Playfully he threw you on the bed, then crawled up next to you. Taking you into his arms and pulling you close to his chest.

"I missed you." Spencer broke the silence.

"I missed you too love" You replied, smiling.

You released your arms from around him, making your boyfriend look at you confused. "What're you-" He was cut off by you kissing him and pushing him over onto his back. The two of you tangled your hands into each other's hair.

Spencer broke the kiss, but you were okay with it because you could hardly keep your eyes open.

"Goodnight princess" He said softly kissing you on the forehead. You smiled lightly, placing your head on his chest.

Within minutes you were fast asleep. However Spencer layed awake, listening to your breathing.

"I love you so much I hope you know!" He whispered in your ear. You smiled again in your sleep, and that's when he turned off the light. Listening to the sound of your breath to put him to sleep.
