This story is based off of the episode in season 15 where Spencer met Max. It's going to be a similar type of story, just not, obviously.

"Have a normal conversation, with what looks to be a normal person."
The words of his therapist repeated through his head as he walked through the parl. Spencer had been way too focused on work, to the point where it was taking over his daily life. More then it usually had.
Thankfully it was his day off, so he could actually try to possibly stumble into a random conversation with someone. Honestly at this point he would talk to anyone, just anything to get this to be over. He felt like he was being creepy the way he was just walking around.
Spencer had even tried to call Emily to maybe hang out or something. However, she was currently 'helping' Rossi and Matt with Matt's new nursery, plus she knew what his therapist had told him. Curse her needing to know almost everything about how he was doing, although he wasn't that mad about it. Oddly enough he liked it, it meant he didn't always need to explain things to everyone.
As time went on, Spencer stopped focusing on where he was walking, and starring at the ground. Someone right next to him said 'hi' and he took it as the person was talking to him. He smiled, thinking he wouldn't have to be the one to start the conversation.
However, once he said 'hi' back, the person starred at him like he was crazy. Then pointed to her ear, in which had an airpod resting in it. This made him somewhat sad, it wasn't going to be easy as he thought it would be, then again nothing in life ever is. And he of all people should understand that.
After walking for what felt like hours, he finally chose to sit on a nearby bench. Stop walking for a bit. A women soon walked up to him, with a child. Although the women looked too young to be the kid's mom, maybe a babysitter, or an aunt. She stood awkwardly next to the bench Spencer was sitting at.
"Would you like to sit down? You shouldn't have to stand this whole time."
"Umm... Sure, why not." She said, she seemed to be awkward about it. Like, why did someone talk to her.
He would be lying if Spencer didn't say that she was attractive.. She watched the child she brought like a hawk, scared that something bad might happen, or maybe she just didn't want to look anywhere else. The second one was most likely the truth, she probably just didn't want to look at him.
"Nice day, isn't it?" Spencer said to her.
"Yeah. Yeah it is..." She replied just as awkwardly as the first time. "So." she perked up. "What brings you to the park today?"
Spencer stopped, not expecting this girl to try and talk to him at all. Plus the fact of, should he actually answer with the truth or not.
"Well, oddly enough it's an assignment of sorts. I have to have a conversation, with someone who looks to be somewhat normal."
"A normal person, huh? And what? you think I might be that normal person, because I'll tell you one thing for certain, I'm far from it."
The two of you laughed a bit at her comment.
"You might not be normal, but this is the most normal conversation I have had in god knows how long. You see I work for the FBI, so our conversations there aren't usually the most casual."
She nodded in acknowledgement. Looking a tad bit confused by the factor of where he worked. As she opened her mouth to speak again, it was cut off, by the screaming of a kid. It was the kid she came to the park with, he had fallen and gotten hurt. Just a scraped knee, but he was a little kid, so he was overreacting about it.
