Double Surprise Vacation

Hi all! So, I know I didn't upload last week, and that it is currently Tuesday and not Monday. However I have been crazy busy with sport and school starting in two days, so if I end up taking longer to upload parts that is why. Anyways I have been writing this part on and off all summer, because I can't think of what to do with the rest of it. Finally I just  decided to leave it as is and do a to be continued at the end, so that way I can come back to it at a later time (plus it was getting really long). But yeah.. hope you enjoy it!

Spencer rushed home as fast as he could, even though he was sad that he was being forced to have mandatory time off from work, he couldn't be more excited about it. He had been waiting for so long to have time to take a trip with you, and this was finally his chance. Not like there wasn't a million different times you guys could go, after all Spencer never takes time off of work, and neither do you for that matter. So this was finally the chance without one of you having to take too much time off.

Spencer: Hey! Are you home yet?

Y/n: Not yet. Only have a few things to finish up at work though. Why do you ask?"

Spencer: Oh just wondering

He smiled to himself, he would be able to buy tickets, call into your work, and set up a whole thing to show you before you got home from work. To say he was excited about this was an absolute understatement. It had been so long since the two of you have gone on a vacation, almost a year or so.

Spencer almost could not get into the apartment, with the key unable to go into the key hole. Once inside however, he ran straight to the computer, that you forced him to get. Immediately looking for tickets for the place him and you had been talking about going to for god knows how long. 

Upon his search, he was able to find a week long set trip full of fun things to do throughout the week. Along with a very nice house to rent out for the week. It was a large mansion type house, with beautiful marble finish counters, stained wooden floors, huge backyard garden fi with an inground pool, and to finish it off a gorgeous master bedroom. Even though booking it was last minute, the house was till up for grabs, not being booked out next for another 5 weeks.

After finalizing the plane tickets, and events for the week, he was just about ready to set up how he was going to tell you. However, there was one thing he almost forgot to do, which was to call into your work so that you wouldn't get fired from being away.

*Time Skip*

It had been one long day for you. You decided to go into work early to finish some extra paper work that needed to be done, and you also stayed late to get started on the work for the following week. In other words, to say you were happy for the weekend was one of the most true statements ever!

Once entering the apartment all of the lights were off. Something that confused you, seeming as how Spencer texted you saying he had gotten home safely after his flight. Turning on the lights, still nothing told you as to where your boyfriend was. The only clue you had was a note saying; There's a little something in the bedroom for you my love - Spencer. 

Okay, so there is apparently something in the bedroom, but that doesn't help you to know where Spencer is. Because the note never said anything about where he could be found. Although maybe he was also in the bedroom, guess you'll have to see it for yourself.

Once again the lights were turned off, but when turning them on, there was more than just a note that was left. A bottle of your favorite red wine was seated on the bed, placed next to it was two sheets of paper, and what looked to be a travel type of pamphlet. 

Moving closer to investigate, you looked at the papers, already knowing the bottle of the wine. The first piece of paper was yet another note. 

Before you say anything about what you are going to read, I already called into work for you, and they were okay with it.

I know you have always wanted to travel to Greece, and how we have always wanted to go on a vacation together. So, surprise! We will be going to Greece for a week, staying in a nice house and doing many different activities. All of which will being staying a secret until the day of, just to add onto the surprise!

You jumped with excitement. And Spencer took that as his queue to come out of his hiding spot, that he was hiding so he could see your reaction. 

"We are actually going to Greece!?" You questioned, not believing that this was truly happening. 

"Yes we are! Before you ask why, Hotch forced us all to take a week off. So I thought I'd call into your work and book us a vacation, since we have been wanting to do that for so long."

Excitement took over you, and you jumped into Spencer's arms.  Spence held you close, nuzzling his head into the crook of your neck. The smile on his face never choosing to leave, watching you explode with happiness brought ore to him.

"Okay, so, we should start packing because we are leaving early tomorrow morning." And your jaw dropped at that. Quickly you ran to get you bags to start getting your things together. And whilst you did that, Spencer made a call in the other room so you couldn't hear.

"This is Morgan." The person, Derek Morgan, answered the phone.

"Derek, I need a bit of help."

Well how can I be of service, pretty boy?" Spence could practically feel the smile on Derek's face.

"Remember when I showed you the ring?"

As a joke, Derek didn't answer right a way. Acting as if he had no idea that Spencer had told him that he was planning on proposing to you, but that he had no idea when or how he should do it. The fact that he wasn't answering was making Spencer nervous. He didn't want to explain it again, with you only in the next room.

"Hmm. I don't recall you saying anything about a ring kid." sarcasm was laced through his voice, but Spencer paid no mind to it. At this point he was just about to loose it on him.

"WHAT!? How do you not remember? That was the one thing I needed you to remember an-" Spencer had started rambling in frustration, so Derek cut him off.

"Spence it was a joke, of course I remember. How could I forget? I mean with all of the jokes I made about it, like come on man." He laughed at his own words. While Spencer on the other hand was hoping he had forgotten about that.

"Anyways, I'm doing it. This week. I planned a trip to Greece and I want to do it there, I just don't know when. Like do I do it at dinner? In front of one of the places we are visiting? Or do it alone at the house we are staying at??"

"Kid, calm down a bit, you're stressing about it too much." Spencer was about to say something but Deek already knew what he was going to say. "And I know, I know, it's a very stressful thing to do. But if you get too worked up about it, then it o the way you want it to. Now, here's what you do."
