Can we just take a second to appreciate season 10/11 Reid! Like, UGH! His freaking hair to be specific.

Anyways, appreciation time over. On with the story!

Weeks have passed since we originally exchanged numbers. Things have been kind of rough, we haven't started fully dating yet. Although we have been non-stop talking as much as possible.

That's where the hard part comes in. Turns out Spencer is an FBI agent, which he didn't tell me until three weeks ago! But it explains as to why he's always busy...

Besides him being busy though, we've been having a great time getting to know each other! We would have movie nights a lot, although hardly ever watching the movie. Instead it would tend to be us talking while eating food, or while I would be snuggled into his side.

Often he would come and surprise me at work, sometimes bringing flowers. Then we'd go out for lunch, until the text came through that lunch break was over.

And we still meet almost every morning (well every morning Spencer is able to), at the coffee shop. In fact they have started getting so used to Spencer that they now have memorized his drink for him.

*Spencer's pov*

It's been a few weeks now, and I think I'm ready to ask her. (Y/n) is such an amazing person, and I don’t want to mess up what we have. Hence why I am ready to ask her, the only question is… how?

I decided to call Penelope and ask her what I should do. She’s all into that sappy romance stuff, and would just know what I should do. Afterall she is the reason I even ‘asked’ for (y/n)’s number in the first place.

“What’s up, boy wonder?” She spoke happily through the phone.

“Hey Penelope! I need your help… it has to do with (y/n).” I paused a bit, attempting to find the right words. “I want to ask her to be my girlfriend, and I don’t know how. So I’m asking for your help.” I quickly spat out.

She squealed on the other side of the phone.

“Sweet cheese this is amazing news! You had me scared there for a second. I thought you guys had a falling out or something.”

It took a long time for her to stop rambling on about her happiness. Not that I didn’t mind, but I would rather ask (y/n) sooner rather than later, especially because cases tend to just pop up out of nowhere.

“I hate to cut off your excitement, but I want to do this now. Not later…”

“Right! Umm, let’s see… Oh! You should take her to the park, you know the one with the bridge. Take her at night and go on a walk around it, have the walk end at the bridge, and while she’s looking up at the stars. That’s when you should do it!”

I paused for a moment thinking it through, that would be a good idea. While she’s caught up in the moment, I pop the question and I’m sure she’s going to say yes. Why wouldn’t she?

“Okay, I like that idea!”

“Yes! Okay, I better be invited to the wedding!” Then she hung up.

Her little comment made me laugh, but also bothered me a little. However, I quickly shook it off and went off to start planning my little date I wanted to do.

*Time Skip* -Y/n POV-

It’s currently 8 pm the sun had set hours ago, and the stars were out lighting up the night sky. Spence texted me wanting to meet up at a park in the city, he said needed to talk to me about something. Man do I want to know what it is about.

As I walked through the park towards the spot that I was told to go to, something felt off. Maybe it was the odd breeze that was coming through the air, or the strange bird sitting on the light. But something gave me a bad feeling in my stomach.

Hours I spent waiting for Spencer to come. But he never showed. So instead I went home going straight to bed, even then when I awoke there was no text from Spencer.

I sent endless amounts of texts to him, but he never answered, which saddened me deeply. But the days needed to carry on, I still have bills to pay after all.

Days passed and there was still no answer from spencer. Until it started reaching the 7 day mark, which then is when I received a text from Spencer.

Spencer: Hi, sorry I haven’t answered you in a week and sorry I stood you up… I got a case last minute and I couldn’t catch a moment for myself. Please let me make it up to you. Meet me at the same park at 7.

That makes a lot more sense, he was on a case. Although I'm sure he could have spared one moment to tell me he was at least okay.

Y/n: Okay, I will be there.

I really hope that something else doesn’t pop up again, because I really want to know what he wanted to talk to me about. My mind is running a million miles an hour around it. What if it is bad, and that’s why he hasn’t talked to me all week?

These constant thoughts were all I could think about, until I got to the park. I looked up and saw Spencer, he was already here and he was holding flowers in his hands.

“Hi, I’m sorry about last week. I certainly am glad we waited though because this is ten times better than what I already had planned!” He handed me the flowers, getting excited as he talked. Honestly now I was really excited, all of the worries I had previously had, had washed away.

Spence took my arm and led me down a candle lit path, which led towards the bridge in the middle of the park. On the way there was some light small talk. Other than that not much was said.

When we reached the bridge, he stopped, looking up at the stars. It was easy to see the stars reflect in his eyes, it made them sparkle a bit. Like he was looking at a thousand sapphires. Soon I stopped gazing at him and switched my gaze to the stars as well. However, soon after I did that his gaze changed to looking at me.

He lightly smiled at me. When I looked back at him it widened again.

“You know I’ve been meaning to ask you a question. And I have been wondering about this for quite some time now.” he looked down, refusing to give me eye contact. He was nervous, and it was obvious, but it was kind of cute!

I stepped closer to him, lifting his chin up forcing him to look at me. Looking at me he took a breath before continuing on.

“Y/n I have been wanting to ask you this since we first started talking, and right now just seems right. Will you be my girlfriend?” My jaw dropped, that most definitely wasn’t what I was expecting him to ask me.

The way I answered though, was I slammed my lips against his. He immediately kissed me back, it was a kiss filled with so much passion. In the middle of it Spencer placed his hands on my cheeks, while I placed mine on his neck.

Finally we broke away, gasping for air. “I’ll take that as a yes!” He smiled brightly. I nodded, slamming my lips against his once more.

Hi, I'm air sorry for having such a messed up uploading schedule... But to be honest I kind of like not having one day where I have to upload, so I'm changing my schedule to at least up load once a week.

Anyways hope you liked it. Please leave suggestions! I'm running out of ideas and if I don't come up with anymore, I'm thinking of ending this book to write something I have a million ideas for. So PLEASE give me some if you want this book to continue.
