Mercy In My Heart // Hawk x OC x Miguel

Chapter Seventeen

A/n - (I know this story doesn't exactly follow the order of the TV show, but I had to add in these scenes to add to the plot.)

Today I was going to go to the mall with Hawk and a few other kids from Cobra Kai. We spent our day shopping and laughing. With prom coming up in a few weeks, I took notice to the prom dresses. Hawk asked me to try some on, but I wanted my dress to be a surprise for him. We continued through the mall and eventually came to the tattoo parlor where Hawk got his tattoo from. For some reason he dragged me inside, what was he up to?

"What are we doing?" I asked as we enter the shop.

"You'll see" he grinned.

A man walked up to us and shook hands with Hawk. This must have been the man who gave Hawk his original tattoo.

"Hey man, what can help you with?" He asked.

"I was hoping you could hook me up with this today" Hawk said as he pulled up a picture on his phone. I still hadn't seen it, but the man looked back between the photo and me. I started to get nervous.

"Sure thing" The man said as he lead us to the back of the shop. "Does your little friend want anything done today?"

"Uh- I'm good" I replied.

"Oh come on, I've seen your Pinterest board. I know you've been looking into tattoos lately"

"My dad will kill me-"

"Then put it somewhere only I can see" he grinned.

My cheeks heated up and I gave in. Something just overcame me and told me to get a tattoo today. I pulled up the tattoo I wanted and they both nodded in agreement. It was a simple tattoo that held a lot of meaning. It was from the movie "Call Me By Your Name". It was an outlining of when Elio shook the broken statues hand. This movie put me through some shit while also helping me through a lot.

Hawk laid down to get his first while I sat in the chair watching. He didn't flinch once when the needle met his skin. I was going to be such a wimp. His tattoo was done in a matter of seconds and I couldn't have been more happy when he showed me the result. It was a small flower right below his index finger. He knew that my name meant meadow, I guess that was why he got it in the first place.

"Hawk, I-"

"Do you like it?"

"I love it" I smiled before placing a passionate kiss on his lips.

We broke apart when I realized it was now my turn, I could feel my whole body starting to shut down. Fuck.

Hawk continued to reassure me that everything was going to be ok as I sat down in the chair. The tattoo was traced out and the worker began to prepare the needle. My heart rate was increasing my the second. Hawk quickly grabbed onto my hand and I squeezed it tighter.

When the needle made contact with my skin, I winced in pain. Hawk buried my head in his chest to force me to look away. Every passing second was more painful than the last.

I let out a single tear before it was over. I sunk back into the chair when the worker said he was done. I looked down to see exactly what I wanted right below my ankle. I could probably cover it with makeup whenever I went to the dojo. I was beyond thrilled with the results.

When we got up to leave, Hawk wrapped his arm around my shoulder.

"Hey, asshole twins. Grab my bag. We're out" he told the two other students from Cobra Kai. They were like his mini servants that heeded his every word.

We decided to grab lunch at the food court. I got pasta while Hawk got a pizza. Eventually he told me he needed to go grab something from one of the stores. I didn't question him and he left. As I ate alone, I saw Sam getting something from one of the restaurants. I quickly ran up to her to say hi.
