Chapter Eighteen

After the fight, I went home to get ready for the dojo. I was pissed at Hawk, I don't know how tonight's class was going to go. He hurt my friends, he hurt my family, and worse of all, he hurt me.

My dad drove us to the dojo and thankfully Hawk wasn't their yet. It was just Miguel.

"Hey Sensei" Miguel said as he walked into the dojo with us. "Hey Blair" he smiled at me. I could feel my stomach doing backflips as he said my name. What was wrong with me? Hawk messes up one time and I'm already catching feelings for someone else?

Soon enough everyone else showed up, including Hawk.

"Hey Princess" he said as he sat down beside me. I ignored him and continued to do my stretches. Did he really expect everything to be fine after the stunt he pulled today?

"Students, fall in" my dad ordered. "We are almost exactly one week away from the tournament, are you ready?"

"Yes Sensei!"

"No you're not! If you were ready, you wouldn't be beating up your friends in your free time!"

My dad knew about the mall fight?

Hawk continued to glance at me, testing my patience.

"Is that understood, Hawk?!" My dad yelled to grab his attention away from me.

"Yes Sensei"

My dad took another step closer to him, "Remember what I told you" he threatened.

Class was awful. My dad put us through the ringer with our training. It was even more painful know that Hawk thought that things were ok. I started to pack up my bags and got ready to head to my dads car. I felt a pair of arms snake around my waist and the smell of Dior Sauvage engulfed me.

"Ready to go, Princess?"

I quickly pushed him off of me.

"What the hell do you think you're doing?"

"What are you talking about?"

"You hurt my friends"

"They're the enemy"

"Will you stop it!?"

"They're just a bunch of pussies"

"They're your friends too!"

"No they're not"

I couldn't believe what was happening between us. I had fallen so quickly for him and now I was already fighting with him. The Eli I knew was gone.

"Then I guess I'm not your girlfriend"

He was left speechless.

"Blair-"

"Goodbye Eli" I said as I walked into the parking lot. My dad was still in the dojo, cleaning up. I didn't know when he was going to be ready to drive home. All I wanted to do was go home at the moment, I wanted to be away from everything that represented Eli.

I saw Miguel walk out of the dojo and I quickly ran over to him.

"Hey Blair"

"Could I get a ride home with you?" I asked.

"Uh- sure" he smiled as he lead me to his moms car.

As we drove home, I texted my dad that I got a ride with Miguel.

"Are you excited for the tournament?" He asked me to break the silence.

"Oh, I'm not entering" I replied.
