Chapter XIV

I woke up to Barg looming over me again. He saw that I was awake and went over to a different table that had food set up on it. I realized that food was for me. Barg brought over the food and said to eat because I was getting skinny. I thought I was full but I still ate to calm Barg down because he wouldn't leave until I ate. The food was just a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. I didn't like it too much but still ate. After finishing I got up from the table I was on and asked Barg what happened.

"Well, I reckon durin' the teleport you grabbed onto a loose object an' it rattled ya," said Barg with a strong alien accent.

"Ok, well where are Charlie and Isaac?" I asked Barg.

"Oh, they're out on a scoutin' trip on the outskirts o' camp," said Barg pointing to a fence outlining the camp. I looked out toward the fence and saw two figures slowly making their way toward the camp. "An' it looks like they're back. Wait they're carrying something, Cosmo go an' have a look."

I ran over to the fence and looked at Charlie and Isaac coming toward the fence. They were carrying a body toward the camp and they were struggling. Charlie got really close to the fence and then collapsed making Isaac let go of the body. Charlie whispered something I didn't catch and the gate on the fence opened. I ran over to the now two bodies on the ground.

"What happened to Charlie," I asked Isaac, "Did something attack you guys?"

"Well we found this off a cliff due south," said Isaac pointing to the body. The body looked human and had dark long hair. The body had tattered clothes and its face was covered in mud because Charlie and Isaac had been dragging it with its face on the ground.

"So what happened," I asked again.

"Moray eels," Isaac said holding his hands up like the 'aliens' guy. I didn't understand the reference though, but I knew how it looked like.

"What are moray eels?" I said confused.

"Well they're pretty much huge eels that live in cliffs and they love moving prey. Charlie had to fight it off while he was grabbing the body," said Isaac calmly. He obviously didn't help. Charlie started to get up from the ground.

"Come on guys let's get this guy to the med tent, oh and Cosmo, don't grab boxes on teleport, grab onto something stable," he said with an annoyed voice. Then we all grabbed onto the body into the med tent.
