We arrived at the little town the next day, well you could say that. It was about four in the morning. As far as I could tell the town was just a little bit older than Renville. By a little bit I mean like 50 or so years. It had a bit of moss growing on the edges of the buildings, and it looked like it rained a lot in the town or at least it rained pretty recently because there were still puddles on the road and sidewalks. There was just enough water to fill nearly every pothole on the road, and there was a lot of potholes. The road therefore was very bumpy.
We drove a while through the town until we found a supermarket. I only noticed it because I have been specifically looking for somewhere I could find food because I had no idea when I t ate anything. Even tomato and cabbage soup sounded good to me, even though I knew that I hated it. I had no idea how though.
I swerved in to the parking lot because I forgot to turn at the intersection and I parked the car wherever I wanted to.
"Could you possibly drive a bit more safely," Isaac complained as we got out of the car.
"What do you mean, 'drive more safely'," I said with air-quotes, "I don't think there should be any rules about how I drive. I don't see anyone else driving."
"Wow, you really don't remember how not to kill people while driving. There are some common rules you should know."
"Well then maybe I'll remember then, someday," I said. For a second we stopped arguing. Then I started again. "Hold on. How do you know that I couldn't remember things?"
"Well, when you started up the car I saw you hesitating, and the same thing happened to me when I got attacked."
"You got attacked," I said as I stared with disbelief.
"Yeah, obviously you got attacked, I can tell by the look on your face. It is the face of someone who has seen true terror. I also got attacked, but not by a water beast, I can tell by the dampness of your clothes. I got attacked by something from the air," He said as he put his hands in the air and stared up with a face of despair.
"Are you some kind of drama-detective?" I asked as I rolled my eyes.
"No, I don't think so, why?"
"Whatever, let's just get some food, I'm starving."
"And I-" he was cut off by me, mimicking his raspy, know-it-all voice, "And you are obviously parched, because your voice is so raspy."
"Shut up Cosmo," He said irritated. I chuckled as we walked to the front doors of the market.
We got up to the front doors which automatically swung open. I jumped a little, but I felt like it was normal, so I didn't question why it happened. As we walked in we saw the seemingly endless isles of food and other items. We both ran in opposite directions seeking whatever we wanted. I grabbed a ton of different snacks and items like I knew what I was doing. I grabbed raw chicken, beef, pork and other meats. Soon enough I didn't have enough space in my arms to fit all the stuff. I saw Isaac with a cart so I decided to get one by the front door. I also grabbed a cooler and portable grill and stove to keep the meat cool and to cook it, respectively. I also ran my arm across a shelf labeled "snacks" which I somehow knew were edible. By the end of the shopping trip Isaac and I met up with our piles of food and drinks. I had a lot of food while Isaac had a ton of drinks. On the way out I grabbed Ice for the cooler and I packed the meat in there along with some of Isaac's drinks. We carefully packed the stuff into the car, which had a lot of space for its size and we drove away. Isaac drove because he thought I lacked the skill, but all in all we drove away happily upon our completed quest.

"MY STORE HAS BEEN ROBBED," Screamed the store manager as he gazed around the supermarket.
Just then the manager heard a screech near the front door of his store. There was a black van with the acronym IPSF written in rather small, yellow letters on either side of the van. Two officers climbed out. The manager had met them before, Officer Louie and Drake.
"Oh hello there Officers," the store manager said with a half inviting and half grave tone.
"Good Morning, Mr. Price," Said Officer Drake.
"You know who did this?" Louie asked Mr. Price.
"No I have no clue. This is exactly how the criminals left it," answered Mr. Price. The store had been ran-sacked and there were items scattered all over the floor.
"I see," said Drake solemnly.
"I think it was them, the EXTs," Said Louie.
"We should not speak of them," Drake said.
"I don't remember their names," said Louie. Drake looked at Louie confused. Then looked back into the mess of the isles.
"Neither can I. Don't worry Mr. Price. We will find the EXTs and subject them," Drake said finally.
Mr. Price watched with worry as both officers climbed back into their van.
"I sure hope you do," he whispered to himself as the van left in search of the EXTs.
