"Good evening," said the officer on the right. His voice was deep and his face was chiseled and had a bit of stubble. He was also shorter than the other officer who had a smooth face and no beard at all.

The officers took out their wallets and showed me their IDs. "I am Officer Drake," said the shorter officer, "and this is Officer Louie."

"We are here to question you about the beast that attacked you at sea," prompted Louie. Louie had a quite unusual higher-pitched voice that men usually wouldn't have.

"Who told you about that," I said nervously, hoping that they didn't realize anything strange about me.

"A man called Kane called to us and said he found you in the middle of the ocean and brought you back to shore," said Drake.

"He also told us that we'd find you here," said Louie.

I stared at the officers for a moment. I didn't know that Kane called the IPSF or why he actually called. Kane didn't look like the person who'd care about other people, especially strange people. Then I remembered that Kane did say something about calling in to notify the IPSF about the beast.

"Well officers I would like to tell you about my dilemma, but I'm a bit tired after today so I'd like to be left alone so that I could sleep," I said calmly as I tried to close the door.

Drake caught the door. "Sorry sir we can't do that," he said.

"We need all the information you can give us about the beast," said Louie.

"I actually don't remember much about the actual wreck and attack," I said hoping that they'd leave.

"You must remember something," said Drake as he walked into the hotel room and sat on the bed I tried to sleep in, which was still wet. Drake was completely oblivious to that. Louie and I followed and sat down on the other bed.

"Officers," I started but was cut off by Louie. "Well tell us all that you remember, that includes what you remember afterwards."

"Well I don't remember what I was doing out at sea or how the beast attacked or how it looked like, but it must've been large. After the attack I was knocked out most likely by a board or piece of wreckage. Then I remember waking up in the middle of the ocean. I wasn't awake long before Kane or Bill tried to fish me out, the fog out there probably made me look like a shadow of a fish, I don't know. After That I got onto Kane's boat and they dropped me off at the shore and told me to come here and stay the night. And that's all that I can remember," I finished talking. It was quite for a while. It seemed like both officers were taking mental notes of what I said.

Finally Louie spoke up. "And that's all, correct."

"Yep," I answered.

"Thank you sir, what's your name?" asked Drake.

"Cosmo."

"Alright then," said Louie finishing up, "we'll be out of your air now." Both Drake and Louie got up and left, closing the door behind them.

After a few seconds the door flung the door open again. "Wait a darn minute. You're not from Earth are you?" yelled Louie after me, but I wasn't there because I had already escaped through the window.
