Running through forests doesn't exactly let you think about what you possibly could've done. For the past hour I have been running and hiding from an angry mob, and I still don't exactly know why.

The forest is dark and you can hardly see the trees in front of you. I still only remember the village of peasants slowly picking up their pitchforks and chanting, "Burn the witch. Burn the Witch."

"Burn the witch," screamed a poorly dressed peasant with a pitchfork in his right hand. 'There he goes again,' I thought to myself.

"For the time, I don't even know what a witch even is!" I screamed back at the man.

"Don't listen to it! It is just trying to make us stray away from what we know is right. All magical beings must be burned at the stake," said a slightly less poorly dressed man, whom I thought to be the mayor of sorts.

"A steak, where," asked a rather fat boy. Not looking where he was going, probably because he was looking for steak, he tripped over the log and caused all the villagers behind him to trip and fall to.

"Boy you better watch where you are going or the witch'll get away," said an old woman. Noticing the pile of recovering bodies, I tried to run as fast as I could to get away from my pursuers. After another minute of running I finally noticed an opening in the woods. I ran toward the opening.

Outside I was stopped by a cliff that would surely end my life if I dared fall off. It was dark out and I almost fell of that cliff, thankfully my eyes got used to the darkness of the forest and I saw the cliff before I fell off. The cliff was at least 80 feet tall. At the bottom there were sharp rocks protruding from the ocean. I turned around hoping to find another way out of this place, but the forest stopped right at the cliff. There was no more ground around the forest just a straight 80 foot drop. The only solid ground beyond the forest as far as I could tell was the ground I was currently standing on.

I heard the mob coming closer. "It couldn't've gone far beyond the forest because of the cliff," I heard a raspy voice say. The voice was right I couldn't go anywhere. I tried to find the most reasonable hiding spot. I looked at the edge of the cliff and noticed that there was no way down because the cliff was just too steep. Hanging onto the edge of the cliff wouldn't work either because first, someone might notice my fingers or second, I couldn't hold on for too long because I was too tired.

I turned toward the forest again. At the opening of the forest was the mob with their pitchforks and torches. "There is nowhere to run witch," said the mayor, "You are going to die. Get him you fools before he escapes!"

I didn't even hesitate to ponder on why the mayor finally noticed that I'm a guy. I closed my eyes and jumped off the cliff.
