Chapter 23: The Battle Of December 19th

At the LaRussos' house, you, Miguel, and Sam were now standing in front of two sofas where the Eagle Fang and Miyagi-do students sit divided. Robby keeps glaring at Miguel, but he appears calmer than he was earlier.

Samantha LaRusso: "I can't stress this enough. Eagle Fang and Miyagi-Do have to work together."

Chris: "Even if we wanted to team up, it would never work." Chris explains with a frown. "I was in Cobra Kai. Their style mixes with ours like..."

Nate: "Oil and vinegar?" Nate asks, looking up at Chris.

Chris: "No, not salad dressing. I would say like the British bulldogs and the Hart Foundation."

Mitch: "They were friends, knucklehead."

Chris: "Not in Wrestlemania 3, Pee Breath."

Mitch: "Why are you calling me Pee Breath? Only they can call me Pee Breath." He motions to the rest of the Eagle Fangs.

Chris: "Why are you ok with anyone calling you Pee Breath?"

Y/N: "Chris has a point. That's pretty sad." You add.

Mitch: "You know what, screw this, come on, let's go." Bert and Mitch get up, walking past you as Demetri gets to his feet.

Demetri: "HEY TURDHOLES!" He yells and everyone turns to face him in shock. "This is exactly what those buttholes at Cobra Kai want. Since you were one of 'em, you're a butthole too. So are you." He points at Chris who shakes his head. "So was I. At least, I wanted to be one... but now Cobra Kai is the worst collection of buttholes in the whole Valley, run by the king of all buttholes. So if merging with Eagle Fang... weird name by the way... can keep us all from getting pooped on anymore, then we'd all be buttholes not to do it." You look at Sam and Miguel hopefully. "I'm sorry for all the 'buttholes'." Demetri waves his hands around awkwardly. "I usually take pride in my grandiloquence but, it's an emotional time."

You smile and pat Demetri supportively on the shoulder before addressing Mitch and Bert.

Y/N: "What my guy Demetri's trying to say is... SIT YOUR BUTTS DOWN AND LISTEN UP!" 

You glare at them while they look at each other in fear and practically dive back to their seats.

Robby stops leaning on the wall and approaches Miguel. You didn't interfere since you knew Robby wasn't going to start a fight.

Robby Keene: *sigh* "Mr. LaRusso said that now is the time to show forgiveness and compassion. And if you have hate in your heart, then you've already lost. You have to do whatever you can to do what is right."

Miguel's face softens as Robby slowly raises his hand up and offers it to him.

Robby Keene: "I promised that I'd find it in my heart to forgive you. And what better time to forgive than six days before Christmas?"

Miguel looks at Robby's hand in surprise and he stammers.

Miguel Diaz: "But, but, I-I..."

Robby Keene: "You were taught the wrong way. That's all there is to it. My father... you helped him put his life back into shape. He has a good heart but, he's just a little lost. He'll find the light and if you stop leaving me hanging, you can find the light too."

Miguel Diaz smiles and shakes Robby's hand firmly. After they finish, Robby winks at you before joining Coco by the wall.

Demetri: "Now... where do we start?" Demetri asks, turning to you, Sam, and Miguel. Everyone else does the same thing since you three were the greatest fighters there.

A little while later, you were all gathered around Sam's dining table. Demetri is holding a notebook at the front of the table. Meanwhile, you, Sam, and Miguel stand around him. Demetri starts explaining the new rules you all had created for your new joint dojo.
