Chapter 4

A vibrance of light flashed to the face of a sleeping princess making her face scrunch due to the brightness. Shae slowly open her eyes and look around her room finding her clock striked at 7:00 am. Any moment now her servants will enter her room. She just stayed in bed thinking about a penguin and a cub playing in her dreams. A smile crept in her face on the thoughts. The double doors of her bedroom swung open and appeared Wendy and Joy.

"Young Miss, good morning. Breakfast is served downstairs, Lady Son is waiting for you." Wendy said while Joy is helping Shae get off from bed.

"You grown a lot young miss." Joy said as she carry Shae off the bed and proceed to carrying her down to the dining area. Wendy then fixed Shae's bed and followed them.

"Joy, is mum there?" Shae sleepily asked.

"No young miss. Only Lady Son is present." Joy answered. After hearing it, her face instantly shows sadness.

They arrived at the dining area and the little girl's mood didn't go unnotice by Chaeyoung. She immediately stood up and took her away from Joy and gave her a sweet smile.

"Why is my princess not smiling in the morning?" Chaeyoung started.

She looked with questions visible in her eyes at Joy. Joy mouthed Somi to her. Chaeyoung nodded and Joy went out of the scene to give them their time alone.

"Sweetie, you know that Mum is handling her business in Italy, right?" Chaeyoung softly asked. Shae just nodded and lean her head on Chaeyoung's shoulder.

"So i want you to wait for Mum patiently and don't get sad about it. Can you do that baby?" Chaeyoung added while caressing her hair.

"But Mum is always out, Mama. She's barely home. Doesn't she miss me?" Shae said nearly crying. Chaeyoung gave her an apologetic smile.

"Sweetie Mama is here. And of course Mum misses you every second, its just that she's busy." Chaeyoung whispered.

"How about we eat breakfast and prepare yourself for school?" Chaeyoung bubbly said to light up Shae's mood but failed.

"Can we facetime Mum, Mama?" Chaeyoung just nod as a reply. She asked their servant to go grab her phone. She dialed Somi's number and the rings brought a soft smile from the princess' lips. After a lot of calls Somi didn't answer. Chaeyoung put whipped cream on her face as a mustache to divert the attention of Shae. Shae burst out laughing when she saw her Mama's face. They started to eat their breakfast while helping each other put whipped cream into each other's faces.

After their breakfast, Shae went with Wendy and Joy to get herself ready for school while Chaeyoung went to her office to check some emails.

A knock from her office door gets her attention and she opened it and saw her little girl in her uniform looking so elegant. At the back are Wendy, Joy and her 2 bodyguards, Jungkook and Jimin.

"Mama, Im ready for school. Will you drop me off?" Shae asked with pleading eyes.

"Baby, Mama can't go. I need to be in the office in 10 minutes." Chaeyoung said as she kneels down to the height of Shae.

Shae went to hug Chaeyoung and tears started to fall on the little girl's face.

"How about i'll pick you up later at 3, after school." Chaeyoung said to make Shae feel better. Shae let go of the hug and faced Chaeyoung.

"Mama i-i have ballet p-practice after s-school." Shae stuttered because of crying.

"That's alright baby. I'll wait for you as you practice." Chaeyoung said as she examine her daughter's face and settled her gaze on the mole located at the left side of the bridge of her nose.

"Okay mama, see you later. Loveyou" Shae said as she wipes her tears and hugged Chaeyoung with a smile on her face.

"I love you too! Take care" Chaeng hugged her back.

They both went out of the office and proceed to their cars. Shae entered her white Lexus sitting at the backseat inbetween Joy and Wendy while Jungkook is driving and Jimin on shotgun.

Chaeyoung wave as her daughter's car go for a distance from her. She then entered her car and drived to her company.
