Chapter 48

Suho opened a wide double doors which hides a bare, clean white walls. The inside of their ward has shown elegant exquisitiness but the contrast of hospital smell made it nerve wrecking to the girls who quietly entered with a fast pace. Momo and Jeongyeon stood beside the bed of Mina.

Mina who has hospital wires sticking into the different part of her body and a large tube was inserted inside her mouth conflicts the peace that is visible on her sleeping face. On the opposite was Chaeyoung who is in much critical situation. A lot of tubes are attach to her body and the most painful one to watch is the tube that is inserted in her heart. She was shoot perfect in the heart by Mr. Myoui while the other bullets were shoot scatterdly on her abdomen. The sight of the two made everyone teared up as they stop themselves to whimper in the quiet room.

"Son! You have to fucking wake up there you dumbshit! We still got a lot of shits to do together!" Dahyun suddenly said while her eyes glisten with tears, gently punching Chaeyoung's unconsious body. "Please Chaengie, fight for you life again. Let that heart fight Chaeng." She quietly added as she kneeled on the floor, silently weeping because thoughts of losing her best friend scared her.

"Changie, I know you can hear me." Nayeon started as she cupped Chaeyoung's face while her teardrop perfectly lands on Chaeyoung's slightly exposed chest. "Little cub, we need you to stay strong and fight this battle again. N-nayeon Unnie promise t-that this will be the last time you'll fight d-death." Her voice wavered as she continues, "I cannot bare to face another day without you Chaeng, I love you so much. I'll wait for you to wake up Chaeng and I will never let a single day that I wouldn't remind you to wake up." Nayeon said leaning closer to Chaeyoung as she planted a long kiss on her forehead letting her tears drop on Chaeyoung's face, "please don't give up" She ended as she went on Mina's bed.

Nayeon's heart sank the moment she laid eyes on Mina's face. She thought that why is the world so cruel that it never let Mina show this peacefulness when she's awake, why does it have to be shown when she's nearing death. "Minari, I and the other girls have tried our best to put a genuine smile on your face" she began sitting on Mina's bed while she held her hand. "I am still waiting 'til this very day that you would put it up on your face without anybody's help but your own effort. Unnie had seen you struggle to wake up every morning after the accident before and please do the same this time." She choked on her own voice, as she cannot stop the pain anymore, "you're always strong and fighting battles that we don't know about, but Mina please don't give up on this one. We need you to fight this one and you can just give up after you're awake. Is that understood Minari?" Nayeon talked as if she will get a reply, "Mina, I will hold every single problem you're dealing with, but you have to promise me to wake up as soon as possible. I can't imagine losing someone I love Mina." She ended hugging Mina's frame, sensitive to the wires attached to her.

"Minayaaa! Why do you always have to be in this bed, almost dying?!" Momo shouted pretending to be angry, "I told you for a lot of times that be fucking careful!" She added as her voice trembled though it is still modulated, "Minaa! Nobody's gonna buy me jokbal and expensive things if you're not gonna fight for this damn life!" She said as her voice descends the volume while her aura changes into a sorrow one "Mina, I really don't care about those things, I just really enjoyed you're company. You're sweet, so kind and lovely even in the most delicate things, you're rare Mina and I wouldn't dare to lose you. Wake up there bitch and tease me about my cheesiness!" She whined silently but the pain in her eyes is very loud. "you are so important in my life Mina. The first ever friend that I have plus the idiot Sana who's taking care of you child right now. I promise Mina that you don't have to buy me anything anymore, even jokbal if you wake up. I am sorry if I have failed to protect you Mina for the second time. Please wake up Minari. Fight again. I beg you." Momo said breaking down on the floor as Jihyo went near her.
