Chapter 17

All the girls were gathered in a circle as secretely as they could to not attract attention from other guests. Everybody seems like enjoying the party oblivious to the commotion at the back.

"Nayeon unnie and Jeongyeon unnie, you could go back and accomodate your guests. We'll take care of it." Jihyo said giving both of them an understanding look. Nayeon was a bit hesitant to leave because she's worried sick for Chaeyoung.

"Babe, lets go. We'll call them after the party" Jeongyeon assured her. "We'll make our leave now guys. Take care and please call us if something happened. Update us as well" she added. Everybody nod and see them leave.

"So who's going to Chaeng?" Tzuyu asked getting everybody's attention.

"Its better if you and Dahyun will go to Italy, the other girls and I will go to Mina's house to take care of Shae" Jihyo making plans for all of them.

"That would be great. We'll book a flight no-" Dahyun was cut off when Momo buts in.

"Use Mina's helicopter" She suggested.

"Is it alright with her?" Tzuyu questioned indecisively.

" She has a lot, so she wouldn't notice if one is gone." Sana said putting her phone on her ears making a call.

"Prepare a helicopter. Bring it to MHM Hotel rooftop" Sana said power sounds in her voice that she only uses for business. Tzuyu gulped on how hot it sounds. Sana then drop the call after hearing a reply not noticing piercing stares were shot through her soul.

"You guys head to the rooftop they will be here in 10." Sana said as she leads them to the hotel's exclusive elevator.

All followed after her. They halted when they arrived in front of the elevator.

"You guys take care and bring the cub in whole piece, alright" Jihyo said giving each of them a hug.

"Yes unnie. See you girls later" Dahyun said bidding her goodbye with a hug.

"Take care Dahyuniee, Chou." Sana said hugging Dahyun and giving Tzuyu a nod.

Momo just hugged them and kissed them goodbye.

The girls separated their ways as for Momo, Sana and Jihyo went to go see Mina. In a party with loud noises can be heard, there was Mina in her own world, reading a book.

"Minarii, the girls will be staying in the mansion later. I already suggested it to them and they agreed" Momo said as she runs towarda Mina startling her.

"Didn't know you owned the house now Momoring" She replied putting her book mark and closing her book.

"What you own is also mine Minaring" Momo jokingly said giving Mina a hug.

"Let's go guys. We still have to get Shae" Jihyo suggested as she walks them to a sleeping Shae at the corner being carried by Joy.

"Hey, we will take care of her. Please go get all their stuff and bring it to the mansion. Don't worry we will send a car for you guys." Sana cutely said as she carefully took Shae but before she could fully transfer Shae to her Mina spoke.

"Can I hold her?" Mina shyly asked as she lower down her head.

"Do you know how?" Jihyo said sensing the desperation on Mina's silent plea.

"I guess." She unsurely replied but still move her body to get Shae.

Joy transferred Shae to Mina but they struggle to keep her sleeping. Even with soft movements, the little girl released a soft yawn indicating that she's out of her dreamland. Her eyes flashed a sleepy look, roaming around as if finding somebody. Everybody is just observing on what the little girl is doing and are careful to not let out noises that will make her fully awake. The smell of the person who was carrying her made comfort on her own nostrils making her scoot back on her holder's shoulder.

"Mommy?" Everybody including Mina choked on nothing the moment they heard the girl's curious utter.

Noticing that everyone around her went even quieter she lift up her head seeing the Lady who she haven't got the name yet. Realizing that the words went out unintentionally and the first time she ever called someone that way, she began to panic feeling nervous on the accident she caused.

"I-im sorry I-I didn't m-mean t-to." Shae nervously explained.

"Hey honey, its okay. My name is Mina. I bet you just miss your mom so much." Mina softly said making everyone shocked on the sudden different approach. After so long, its the first time they heard Mina so concern as this. Mina neglected her friend's reaction and caressed the back of the child.

Shae looked around to look at the faces who are surrounding her. After she's satisfied herself that she's safe she began to talk shyly.

"Where's Mama, Auntie Sana?" Shae asked to Sana.

"Mama went to check Mum Somi baby. But don't worry, Aunties will be here to take care of you" Sana carefully explained to not get Shae long for Chaeyoung.

On Sana's explanation, Mina's eyebrows meet together showing a bemuse expression.

"She has two Moms" Momo whispered as she noticed Mina's reaction, erasing the confusement on the girl's mind.

The little girl shed out a tear drop from her eyes that made everybody alarmed.

"Hey sweetie, do you like to read?" Mina asked trying to soothe the girl. She received a nod from the little girl while still softly sobbing.

"I have huge library in my house. Wanna go see it?" Mina enthusiastically said making the others awe in her power to make the girl calm.

"Yes please." Shae shyly said as she wipe tear stains in her cheeks.

"I am a ballerina as well. But stopped practicing now. But I still know how to twirl" Mina giving her a bright smile and a suggested look.

"Can you try it with me" Shae said as she wiggles herself signaling to go down.

Mina who forgot that she's around people, only cares for the girl's comfort, have put Shae down and both of them did the ballet pose and did a swift twirl and bowed afterwards. Applause were heard and that's when Mina noticed, that she's letting her guards down to this little girl. Like the moon, she's willing to shine to light up the dark.

"Let's go home." Mina said not minding everybody as she carries Shae and led her out of the hotel onto her lexus as the others follow behind still in shock.
