Chapter 38

In the middle of an empty location, stood an abandoned storage building. A girl was tied on the chair unconsious. A bunch of purple marks have covered her body as a sign of torture. A loud bang of a gun made her awake. She tiredly lift her head, coruscate of a dark place have greet her, until one bulb illuminates light revealing a woman, pointing a gun at her.

Adrenaline rush have gone up to the little girl, gathering her energy to speak up, "Please No!" She cried out. "Please let me go!" She shouted while her voice is full of plea.

A very familiar woman walked closer to her, the cold steel gun touched the little girl's temple. The little girl was stunned on the sudden contact as a soft plea escape her, "Mama please save me"

"Sorry little Princess, nobody will hear you in this place." The woman whispered, lowering her voice to scare more the little girl.

"Mama! Help!" She screamed while the woman lets out an evil laugh.

"Hahaha! Honey, you're just gonna lose your voice!" The woman said.

Aunt Tzuyu, why aren't you coming? You said you'll protect me, forever you're going to be my Knight, the little girl thought while tears rolled down to her cheeks.

"Now tell me, Shaeron Eclisse" The woman said spitting out the name as if its a disgusting flavor. " who do you love more?" The woman said circling around Shae. "Me or her" She emphasized her last word while holding up a picture of a beautiful woman that made her cry even more.

Shae didn't reply making the woman mad, pointing the gun indecesively at her. "Answer me young lady!" The woman shouted that made Shae lost her soul on the sudden growl. "Pick wisely" The woman finished.

"Her" Shae whispered as the trigger of the gun was accidentally pulled by the woman, shocked on Shae's response, making the bullet fly across the distance between them. Before Shae could catch it she screamed, "Mama!"

Chaeyoung felt that she was being shaken. She immediately sat up, tears are building up her eyes, looking around as if finding somebody.

"Shae." She inaudibly uttered. Looking around nervously.

"Hey" Mina softly whispered, still naked under the duvet that was covering her. "Its just a nightmare" She added holding Chaeyoung's shoulder.

Chaeyoung pulled her hair as if it will stop the nightmare from coming. She stilled for a moment to gather herself until Mina opened her phone producing a light from the screen. She checked the time and looked at Chaeyoung afterwards.

"Its already 7 in the morning" Mina softly said, observing the smaller girl's distraught face. "Are you alright?" She worriedly asked.

"I really had a bad dream" Chaeyoung said. "Its Shae being killed." She tremmbled while she expressed her thoughts.

"Chaeng, we're not gonna let that happen" Mina said givng Chaeyoung a hug which the latter accepted. They stayed silent for a moment until Mina broke it. "Call her, so you'll settle your mind" Mina suggested.

Chaeyoung immediately get her cellphone facetiming Shae. A few rings sound until the screen flashed a sleepy girl sitting alone in a long dinnet table.

"Young Miss, Lady Son have called." One of the bodyguard said as the motion of the picture on the phone moved to a closer angle to the now smiling little girl.

"Mama! I miss you so much!" Shae, energy at the top said.

"I miss you too honey, how are you doing?" Chaeyoung asked while she looked at Mina who was giving her an I-told-you-so look.

"I'm fine Mama, but I'm so bored here, Mum's always away." She slowly said, removing the smile on her face.

"Oh, do you want Mama to come over and pick you up?" Chaeyoung suggested that earned an excited squeal from the other line.
