Chapter 32

The three girls arrived at the quiet mansion of Son Chaeyoung. Shae have dozed off the way back home leaving Chaeyoung and Mina into a comfortable silence.

"We'll just tuck her in and I'll send you at Jeong Unnie's" Chaeyoung said looking intently into Mina.

"Sure." Mina replied, having good expression in her voice.

They both absorb the comfortable silence that lingers inside the cadillac. Both were just listening into their own breathing, getting lost in so much familiar yet strange solace.

"I really had fun today Mina" Chaeyoung said breaking her voice in the silence.

"Me too" Mina quietly said, still cannot believe that she's breaking down her walls.

"I can see that." Chaeyoung said, settling her hand onto Mina's hand. Mina looked up to her eyes, meeting the orbs that holds millions of emotion at the moment. As if on cue, electricity traveled down to their spines, butterflies partying in their stomachs.

"I really love the way you smile Mina and how your laughter made me laugh too. I like how I am when I am with you." Chaeyoung said not breaking the stares. "I know there's a reason why you're keeping this kind of yourself. But hey, loose it a little bit, let it out. It outshines the current you." Chaeyoung sincerely said. "You can trust me Mina, I hope you can see that. I'm willing to be a friend. Though you might hold so much ice in you personality, I know there is warmth hiding behind it. Don't be afraid, I'll be here" Chaeyoung continued as she placed her palms into Mina's cheeks, wiping the tear that escaped her eyes.

They don't know, but they both felt like magnet, getting close to each other. Mina closed her eyes and Chaeyoung did the same. Breaths can already be felt by each other's face and lips centimeters apart, closer and little bit more, noses are already touching until...

"Mama?" Shae interrupted and both girls immediately pulled away from each other. Mina pretended to look out the window while Chaeyoung checked Shae. She saw that the little girl was just sleep talking.

"Uhm, let's go down." Chaeyoung said informing Mina. She went out first and opened the passenger seat for Mina and then proceed at the back door to carry Shae.

The moment they stepped inside, a servant rushes to them, "Lady Son, Miss Somi have come to visit."

Chaeyoung stopped walking and for a split second she felt the weight of the world. Mina held her as she noticed that Chaeyoung was a bit taken aback.

"Is there something wrong?" Mina worriedly asked. Mina signaled one of the servant to carry Shae up to her room so Chaeyoung could get back in trance.

"Yeah, its just that I wasn't informed that my ex wife will be here." Chaeyoung explained, calming herself. She thought that joy and sorrow are always chasing each other. After a great day with Mina and Shae, it will end up to this.

"Don't worry, Don't be afraid, I'll be here" Mina assured, following how Chaeyoung have comforted her earlier.

Both of them walked to the living room. Like they were robots transformed into their cold states. They both are back to their iceness and surely the breeze had taken its coldness.

"What brings you here?" Chaeyoung said the moment she spotted Somi, feeling at home in the large couch while watching tv.

Somi looked up and was astounded as she saw Mina. She gulped at the surprise of a very familiar face shes been longing to see. But she didn't let them saw this, instead she composes herself and stood up, "I already talked to my lawyer and personally requested that the hearing will be tomorrow afternoon." She stoically said while making her way to Chaeyoung and Mina, "who do you have here Chaeng?" She asked checking Mina out from head to toe.
