Chapter 40

As the door of the car closes and it distanced from their house, Shae fiddled with her fingers, looking over at the road, hesitating to say something to her bodyguards , not to mention that she barely talks to them. Until they stopped for the red light, she gathered the courage to speak up to them.

"Please drop me off to Cheongdam-dong." She authoratively said, trying her best.

"Young Miss, we have to drop you off to school" Wendy said slowly so the girl will not take her the wrong way.

"Pleasee. Just this once can you follow my request" Shae desperately said, giving out her puppy eyes and pleading soft voice which the people inside the car immediately fell for.

"I'll inform Lady Son first" Namjoon said looking at the rear view mirror.

"No!"Shae instantly said,"please no, Mama must not know about this." She quietly whispered, trying to produce tears, acting as if going there is crucial at the moment.

"But Young Mi-" Namjoon was cut off when Shae's tears began to fall.

"I'll take care about Mama and you guys." She quietly sobbed, being the best actress that she is.

"Fine" Joy decided, making Shae produce a bright smile to all of them.

"Well, that was fast" Jungkook commented on the fast change of Shae's emotion.

They drive downtown, reaching the roads of Cheongdam-dong. Shae have kinda planted the ways on her mind though it was just once she's been there.

"Turn right over there please" Shae instructed while pointing at an obvious private hectare.

"Young Miss, we might be sued" Wendy worriedly said that made the car stop right on track.

"Don't worry, I own that place" She replied that made the others shocked on her statement. Namjoon proceeded to drive inside, mesmerized on how the place is built. They come to a stop when they are infront of the huge modern gate.

"I'll go out, so the gate will open" Shae informed removing her seatbelt waiting for Joy to go out so she could follow.

Joy and her proceeded to a pillar inserting the diamond of the ring to the carved scanner, gates opening, showing the sight of a castle she claimed to be her own. Shae and Joy went back inside the car, as all were speechless on the sight.

"Can you just wait for me inside the car?" Shae bravely asked willing to explore the house alone.

"Young Miss, we already agreed to ditch school" Wendy disagreed, "this time, please let us come with you" a sisterly care voice came out from her.

"Okay. Thank you so much" Shae agreed, not really having a big deal on letting them in.

They were all walking up on the glass staircase that leads to the second floor. Long hallways are what greeted them on the second floor. There were about 15 rooms in the area. Shae began to open each door on the second floor. She already opened 10 doors on the right hallways which only holds an empty bedrooms. Shae proceeded on the opposite hallway opening the first door.

Dark room, greeted the people's eyesight. Jungkook tried to find a switch so they could clearly see. After a few seconds flourescent dim light flickers. Eight movie chairs are organized properly on the two elevated floors. On the ground was a king sized bed, a bit dusty, signifying, it hasn't been used for a long time. Large flat screen TV is the opposite of these movie chairs. Shae went out and proceeded to the next door, revealing a study area which looks like a nursery. Unlike the library downstairs, this one looks even more child-friendly. She wonders if the things are all hers. The next door is an indoor playroom, which holds a lot of toys inside. Shae really is attracted to play but stopped herself as she was prioritizing the secrets that the house was holding.
