Chapter 35

The Cadillac is moving fast through the tall buildings of South Korea. Chaeyoung is in the driver seat while Mina took the passenger seat. Shae was comfortably sitting at the back.

The stars are covered by thick clouds, as if the sky is not in the mood to give light. Minutes later of silent drive, the sky is as if a duplicate of Chaeyoung's feeling. It started to pour its tears creating tingling sound as it contact with the car. Flash of zigzag light at the night sky that initiate a loud roar afterwards startled Shae.

"Are you alright there honey?" Mina asked noticing how Shae made her eyes wide open.

"Ye-yes Mommy." Shae said, trying to make Mina don't feel worried. Mina saw how she fumbles her fingers while lowering her head.

"Hold my hand baby, don't be scared" Mina said while reaching her hand out for Shae.

The little girl didn't hesitate on taking Mina's hand since she knew that's one thing that could calm her down, being held by someone. Chaeyoung who wad focusing on the road but at the same time feeling their presence, release a soft smile on how Mina handled Shae.

"You know baby, when I was your age, my Mom used to tell me that lightnings are the mastpieces that an angry sky would give out." Mina informed Shae.

"So when somebody's angry, there can be something beautiful be made out of it?" Shae innocently asked, averting her fright to Mina's little information.

"Yeah, you could say that." Mina responded not looking back but at Chaeyoung who met eyes with her.

They both knew that Chaeyoung is a bit off today, she had experiencing mixed emotions that she cannot even determine on what she is feeling momentarily. Anger is one of these, though she can be aggressive on this kind of matter, her anger made her weak to just agree on this temporary distance with her daughter. A million times she wanted to manipulate her daughter's view on Somi because she was so angry at her but then again being angry made her feel powerless, not letting her be indesesive.

They arrived at a big house, too huge for only Somi and Shae but but way smaller than Chaeyoung's castle. The gate automatically opened, revealing a front garden. Chaeyoung stopped in front of the double door of the house. Bodyguards opened the door of the cadillac to escort everyone inside to go out.

"Where is Somi?" Chaeyoung asked. She was curious as to why wasn't she the one that waited for her daughter.

"I'm afraid to inform you Lady Son that Miss Somi have departed an hour ago to Italy" The bodyguard informed.

"Will Shae be alone here tonight?" Mina worriedly whispered to Chaeyoung but the bodyguard heard it.

"Excuse me Ladies but Miss Somi had instructed us that we should introduce to you her new set of bodyguards." The man intervened their conversation. After that about ten men in luxury suits have come to them.

"Miss Somi have personally recruited them Lady Son" The bodyguards added. Chaeyoung understood this, because Somi can't look after her due to her business in Italy. But a smart thought went inside her brain that she could use this to take Shae back.

"Lady Son, Miss Somi as well have picked well-trained Nannies, they don't just take care but they protect too." Six Women in blue maid dress reach to the cadillac.

"Why does she need these number of Nannies?" Mina curiously asked.

"Each one of them have specific roles." Mina looked at her confused to her response, "like the one is for bathing, the other one is for her make up or hairstyle, the other is for foods. Yeah like that" Chaeyoung explained.
