Training goes wrong

Hiccups P.O.V

"Hiccup"Yelled Astrid as she was falling from Stormfly. I swiftly dived down on Toothless and hopefully caught her.

"Did you get her?" I asked. He looked at his feet and smiled a gummy smile. He roared happily in reply. I reached my arm under Toothless until it met with Astrid's hand and pulled her up in the back of Toothless so she could have a more comfortable ride. We flew down back into the academy and both dismounted, Stormfly landing next to us.

"This is what you will be practicing today" I informed the group.

"So...we have to jump off our dragons and?" Asked Ruff

"And DIE!!" Bursted Tuff

"No, I will be there i case any 'accidents' happen" I said.

"What, no you ruined it" said Tuff rather disappointed. How is dying fun? Where is the pleasure in death?

"I'm going to put you in pairs, one of you is the victim and one is the hero..."

"Dibs the hero!" Shouted Snotlout. "What I'm a born hero, it's just I have to find my damsel in distress" he said looking deliberately at Ruffnut, who just looked at him with a disgusted look on her face.

"Anyway, the victim will fall from their dragon and the hero will dive down and catch the victim, but the saving has to be smooth so they don't get hurt, any questions?"

"Ummm, can I be the dragon?" Asked Tuff dumbly.

"I would like to think your joking but somehow u think your being realistic" answered Astrid.

"Pft, I'm obviously being realistic Astrid, oh dibs being a night fury!" Shouted Tuff, Toothless gave him a glare that said 'don't you dare'.

"So anyone else got any good questions?" They all stood back shaking their heads. "Great, so now for the teams, Snotlout with Ruff and Tuff, Eret with Astrid and Fishlegs with......" With who? There's nobody left.

"With me!" Shouted Mom landing with Cloudjumper.

"Yes with mom" I said surprised "so who's first?" I looked around at everyone raising their hands. "How about, Eret and Astrid?" "Eret your the hero and Astrid your the victim" I announced. We all took off flying to a clearing just off the side of Berk. "Go!".

Eret patted his rumble horn 'Skullcrusher' and flew up high. Astrid called to Stormfly and flew lower than Eret but still high enough to brake almost every bone In her body if she fell. She stood up in the Saddle and jumped off, I was lower ready to catch her if Eret didn't. Eret started diving with skullcrusher until suddenly just stopped moving knocked out in the air and was quickly plummeting towards the ground with Eret still on his back yelling out.

"Snotlout!" I shouted as I dived down towards Astrid, he flew away and caught Eret whilst mom and the twins caught Skullcrusher and gently laid him out on the grass.

Astrid's P.O.V

I stepped off of my saddle and was falling down fast, the wind was making my hair fly everywhere, I tuned over looking back at Skullcrusher diving towards me. But he Just was knocked out in mid air and I let out a scream. "HICCUP!"
I saw hiccup diving down towards me, he unhooked his safety belt and put Toothless' locked tail on. He jumped of the seat with his arms by his side diving towards me closer and closer, when he was close enough I grabbed his waist tight and he let out his flight suit and glid down softy towards the ground where Toothless can underneath us and we fell into his saddle.
