Hiccups P.O.V

It was the next day and a thought just popped into my head. 'I should check on Astrid'.
I ran downstairs and then outside.

"Toothless" I called. "Oh wait he's not here" I said remembering. So I tightened my leg again with a wrench I had recently attached to my armour, I leaned on it testing it out and continued on my walk to Astrid's. I finally came up to her house and knocked on the door, I waited a few moments until Astrid came to the door.

"Hey Hiccup" she said walking out.

"Hi"

"We should go get our dragons from the stables..." She said her words slowing down to a halt.

"Looks like you forgot, like I did" I said hesitating.

"Yeah so what do we do now" she said looking down.

"Well, if I'm honest I don't know" I replied. She walked past me and held my hand pulling me around and I almost fell over.

"Uh, where are we going?" I asked. She didn't reply she just kept walking. Ok then don't answer me I thought, and that's when I noticed that for the first time she was wearing a shoulder bag. She tugged me harder and started to run.

"Where are we going!" I shouted demanding an answer.

"You'll see" she shouted back. We continued to run and we ran into a forest, where a branch slammed in my face making me fall over.

"Ouch!" I said. Astrid rushed over to me and helped me up.

"Sorry" she said.

"That's ok..." Before I could say anything else she grabbed my hand again and continued to pull me.

Astrid's P.O.V

I ran as fast as I could heading for the cove just taking a different route so Hiccup wouldn't know where we were going.

"Can you please slow down!" He yelled.

"Nope" I said sharply. I quickly stopped and he flung in front of me until I jolted my arm flinging main back.

"Oh my gods Astrid! Why did you bring me here?" He asked. I Held his hand and this time walked forward to a rock. I sat down and he sat next to me.

Hiccups P.O.V

I sat down giving her a confused look as if to say 'why?'. She reached into the bag and pulled out a small box.

"Here you go" she said handing it to me. I hesitantly opened it thinking it would be an engagement ring, inside was a dagger with a gold and white handle and the blade was brand new and as sharp as a dragons tooth.

"Wow, thankyou Astrid" I said hugging her. "It's amazing"

"I'm glad you like it" she said. She just sat there looking at me, I got to admit it was pretty freaky.

"Oh right, umm well I left my present back at the house I'll give it to you tonight" I said remembering I didn't have a present for her.
