I sat up and toothless opened his winged that were sheltering us from the cold outside, the sun was rising and the grass was damp. I looked over at Astrid who was still fast asleep, I nudged her so she would wake up.

"Wha-" she said sitting up and yawning.

"Rise and shine sleepy head" I said smiling.

"How about I just sleep for a few more hours and then we can go back" she said looking at me but with her eyes closed.

"No can do- how about you open your eyes jump on your dragons and we go home?" I said.

"Five more minutes" she said slowly laying down again.

I grabbed her and pulled her towards me and looked her in the eyes.

"We have to go" I said chuckling.

"Ok!" She said punching me in the arm.

"Ouch!" I said standing up and rubbing my arm.

I hopped on toothless and clipped my prosthetic leg into the right position.

"Let's go" I said positioning toothless' tail, he jumped of the cliff and we seemed to fall for a split second his wings came up and then he bursts forward as fast as his wings could carry us.

"Wait up!" Shouted Astrid a few meters back.

"I'll race you!" I shouted and Toothless gargled happily and we zoomed forward, I led down in the saddle, locked his tail into place and got myself comfy I then held onto his saddle that I could also use to steer him.

"That's not fair!" Shouted Astrid who knew that I would now go even faster as we were now more aerodynamic.

"I'm using all the resources I have to go faster!" I said and Toothless knowing the word faster zoomed forward and left Astrid miles back stunned, I reached into the saddle back and put on my helmet so it was easier to fly. I looked back and saw Astrid leaning forward and slowly catching up but still staying a reasonable distance away.

We landed first place! And waited for Astrid to land.

When she finally did arrive she landed beside us and looked exhausted.

"Took your time didn't you!" I said laughing.

"Easy for you to say! You have a night fury!" She said back.

Later on I decided to call a meeting.

"As you know a was gone for a few days, I needed some privacy" I said.

"What for?" Was a question.

"Well, I recently found an old book that turned out to be a box and inside was a few things from my dad" I said revealing my bracelet.

"Wow, that's so sweet, cool" echoed voices from my clan.

I then revealed my necklace and everyone were stunned as for how wonderful it was.

"And what looks like a gem at the moment is actually a scale, a night fury scale, and not toothless'" I said.

"Yay!" "Woohoo!" "Night fury!" Cheered everyone.

"So there may still be a night fury!" I shouted and everyone cheered.

"It's just finding it first!" I said cheerfully.
