Hiccups P.O.V

I woke up extra early so I could spend time with all the dragons before they go, I sat up and swirled to the side of the bed adjusting my leg as I'm going to use it a lot today. I walked over to my drawers and opened one, I moved a few things around looking for the right thing. I finally found a toy that I was going to give to Toothless, it was a small plushie Night fury toy with a red tail fin. I put the toy in a small bag and ran downstairs.

I walked out the door where Toothless was waiting for me, I ran over to him and gave him a big hug.

"Hey bud, look what I got for ya" I said taking the toy out the bag and putting it on the floor in front of him. He sniffed is then warbled padding it around with his foot, he then picked up in his mouth and gave me the puppy eyes.

"Haha you like it?" I asked. He then jumped around and came to me, I stroked him lightly.

"I'm gonna miss you bud" I said passionately, he looked up at me still with a toy in his mouth.

"Come on let's go get Astrid, but this time I'm walking, gotta get used to it you know" I said. We started walking side by side, he still had it in his mouth.

Astrid's P.O.V

I woke up to a banging on the door.

"Oh my gods it's Snoggletog!" I said to myself, I his Hiccups present and ran downstairs. I opened the door to see them both side by side.

"Hey boys" I said.

"Hello mi'lady" he said.

"Hey is that Toothless' present?" I asked looking at the toy in his mouth just about making out it was a Night fury.

"Yeah, he hasn't let go of it since I gave it to him, look" he held the toy in Toothless' mouth and tried grabbing it out, toothless held it tight in his teeth being careful not to brake it but still not letting go, Hiccup let go and scratched the back of his neck smiling.

"He loves it" I said smiling back. "C'mon lets go!' I said grabbing his hand and running to the stables.

Inside I met Stormfly and I ran over to her hugging her tightly.

"Hey girl" I said praising her.

"Hey guys" Hiccup said to all the gangs dragons, he walked over to them scratching each one.

A few hours later when the dragons are about to leave

Hiccups P.O.V

We all went outside with our dragons ready for them to leave, everyone of us hugged our dragons tightly.

"Bye bye bud" I said. All of the gang, my mom and a few other Viking linked arms getting a bit emotional. Toothless adjusted his tail fins and looked back to me with a gummy smile and flew off with all the other dragons.

"I hope you come back with another one of your kind" I whispered with a tear coming from my eye. We were still all were holding hands. And we gave each other hugs, me giving Astrid a hug and kissing her making both of us feel better.
Toothless was also wearing a baby dragon holder bag, just in case.

"Goodbye buddy!" We all shouted in unison.
