Astrid's P.O.V

We stayed on the island for a while and Hiccup was telling the rest of the gang and his mom and my parents what had happened. I must have fallen asleep because when I opened my eyes I was at Hiccups, he was beside me awake with a blanket around him.

"Hiccup?" I whispered. He looked up at me and smiled faintly.

"Yeah?" He said.

"Thankyou"

"For what?"

"Well for taking more care of me than yourself" I sat there thinking for a moment. "Why did you do that for me, I mean you could have been warm but you chose to keep me warm instead?" I asked. He shuffled over to me and his face was close to mine.

"Because I love you" he confessed. I gave him a kiss in return.

"I love you too Hiccup" I said smiling. He got up and got in his bed he patted beside him gesturing for me to sleep, I walked over and led down. And we fell asleep.

Hiccups P.O.V

I woke up with Astrid in my arms, she was still sleeping. I carefully laid her down and got up, I got dressed quickly and walked downstairs. Mom was cooking breakfast, it smelt good.

"Yum that smells good mom" I complimented.

"Thankyou son, have a nice sleep?" She asked.

"Very well thanks"

"How's Astrid?"

"She's ok" I said sitting down at the table. Mom laid out plates on the table one...two...three plates, she washed her hands and sat beside me.

"You better wake Astrid or she won't be happy we had breakfast without her" she said chuckling.

"Oh right!" I said suddenly remembering. I ran up the stairs and walked into the room without thinking.

"Hiccup!" She shouted hiding behind my bed.

"Ahhhhh sorry Astrid!" I said covering my eyes. She was getting dressed, I grabbed the door and pulled it shut.

"Ummm breakfast is ready" I said through the door.

"I'll be down in a second" she said. I walked down the stairs I must of been bright red as my mother looked at me laughing.

"What was all that about?" She said struggling to breath as she was laughing so hard.

"Nothing" I said blushing, I sat down and waited for Astrid. We waited until Astrid walked down the stairs and sat beside me she was also blushing.

"Thankyou Valka" she said digging into her meal we all ate until we were full.

Drake's P.O.V

I woke up to a crackling sound I ran downstairs in my pajamas and stopped when I came to the door, I grabbed my coat and pulled it on before opening the door. I ran over to the lava pedestal Hiccup had given me and the egg was hatching, I didn't think I just ran and ran and ran all the way to Hiccups house. I banged on the door and Astrid answered.

"Hi Drake" she said kneeling down next to me. "What's wrong" she said seeing me all puffed out, I couldn't speak I just pointed in the direction of my house.

"Stormfly!" She called and then a huge Deadly Nadder ran over to us, she lifted my up onto the dragons back and then got up herself. The dragon ran in the direction Astrid told her to and stopped just by my house, I jumped off and ran to the pedestal with the egg still hatching.

"Oh right" she said beaming a smile. She whispered into Stormflys ear and then the dragon ran off.

She knelt down next to me examining the egg, and Stormfly came running back with Hiccup on her back. He got down and Toothless appeared behind him. He knelt down on the other side of me and touched the egg.

"Oh yeah, I think it's time me take him to the lave pool" he said lifting the egg. He walked over to Toothless and put the egg in the egg carrier bag which was still their after the other day. He lifted me onto Toothless and we sped off flying to the Hatchery.

Once we were their he carried the egg carefully to the lava pool and handed the egg to me, I placed it into the lava pool and the egg started hatching. Suddenly the egg cracked into two and a baby Rumble horn jumped out, Hiccup lifted him up and placed him in my arms.

Hiccups P.O.V

I placed the little Rumble horn in Drake's arms and he cradled it studying every bit of his new dragon.

"It's a boy" I stated so he wouldn't give him a girly name like puffy pink spiky thing.

"What are you gonna name him?" Asked Astrid.

" hmmmm" he said thinking. "Battering ram" he said looking up at me smiling.

"Hey Battering ram" I said stroking him lightly.
