As soon as I hopped out of the car, I saw Tae's car parked in front of my house. The lights inside my home were all on.

"You have a visitor. Is it the fat guy?" Before I can answer Lyndon, he began to walk away from me. He went inside my house as if he owns it.

I followed him from behind. My hands are getting sweaty, and my heart is pounding like I just run in a marathon. I hope that dad did not scold Taehyung, or worse than that kick him out.

"Why are you visiting my daughter at this hour Mr. Kim?" I heard dad ask.

"I love your daughter Sir." My eyes went wide not because I was amused but because I was shocked that he answered dad that way.

"Uncle we're here." I know Lyndon heard what Tae said, but he just act like he didn't hear anything. He act like Tae's not here.

As I surfaced in the living room, Tae looked at me like I am a fragile glass. He looked at me lovingly. He looked at me like nothing's gonna happen, as long as we are together.

"D-dad." I called my father who is sitting with authority in my single sofa.

"Why are you home late?"

I move closer to dad and kiss his cheeks before answering. "I had a practice for our upcoming events." I told him. I stand near Taehyung.

As if on cue my two dogs went near us. They were greeting me and Taehyung but both of us are intimidated by my dad's presence so we cannot greet them.

"Kuma." Lyndon call my dog but Kuma barked at him. I heard Tae's low chuckle, I can't help but smile too. Lyndon squinted his eyes to Tae. And Tae just look at him with the same intensity in their eyes.

"Jennie, Mr. Kim told me he likes you. Are you aware of his feelings?" Dad asked me. I nodded as a response and look at Tae whose eyes are now on me.

"He confessed to me."

My dad sighed. "Let me be honest to you Mr. Kim, I don't want my daughter to be attached with male idols. I also do not want her to be an idol, but since this is what she wants I obliged. I brought Lyndon here to officially ask my daughter out." My mouth went agape to what my father just said. Me and Lyndon? Hanging out? Like boyfriend-girlfriend?

I waited for Tae to respond. He was silent for a moment. But I was caught by his action when he held my left hand and squeezed it like he is comforting and assuring me that he will fight for me.

"Give me a chance to prove to you sir how I like your daughter. I will do my best." He's voice was shaking but the sincerity of it takes over his nervousness.

Lyndon clapped his hands. I look at him while he is walking towards Tae and lending his hand.

"May the best man wins." I was about to protest to Lyndon but Tae cut me off. Am I a game for Lyndon?

"This is not a competition Mr. Lee. Jennie deserves all the respect from guys. And I will never replace that with some.." Tae looked at him from head to toe. "guy whose fond of games." I keep on blinking my eyes from what I heard from Tae. Dad was nodding his head to me or Tae? I don't know.

He just look so proud, while Lyndon was embarass and just pull off his hand and shrug off.

"Okay then. I'll give you two a chance to please my daughter. But I'll observe too." The guys nodded at dad. While I am still trying to process on my mind what just happened.

"But dad.."

"You're my only daughter Jennie. I need someone whom I can rely on with our business. I know you don't want that kind of responsibility but as of now I really need your help."

"I can dad! Just don't ask help from Taehyung and Lyndon. They have other things that they are busy with!" I half shouted. I am so annoyed by the situation that's going on.

"You are aware of our family's hierarchy Jennie. If you aren't still ready then as your father I will find you guy even if it means you don't love him. Lyndon's parents want you as their daughter in-law. If I will be the one to decide I'll agree right away. But.." Dad look at Taehyung as he stood up from his seat.

"I will give you a chance to fight for my daughter fairly Mr. Kim." He lastly said then he waljed out from my house. Lyndon was hesitating to follow dad but he still did. Tae bowed a couple of times to them.

I sighed deeply when they finally got out. Tae face me to him and hugged me tightly.

"I will not do the same cowardness I did before Jennie. I will not say any promises to you all I can offer is my pureness, love and respect. So trust me with this. Please." As I heard him say that my heart ache for him. It was never his fault before. And it will not be his fault now that he love me this much. Because I also love him the way he does to me.

I hugged him tightly and just sniff his scent. Tae is like Jisoo unnie, they are not fond of putting cologne or perfume but his smell is still intoxicating.

"I will hold on to that Tae. But will you be okay handling that responsibility?"

He pulled off from our hug and look at me. He caress my face and lift it to level his stares on me. "Who said I'll do it alone? Relationships can't be done by just one person. It's always the two of us." This guy is really full of sweet words. He's spoiling me with his sweetness and I love it so much.

"For now just focus with your work. I have someone who can help me." His boxy smile showed and I smile at him too. Everytime he smile like that, I cannot keep myself from smiling too.

"And who would that be?" I squinted my eyes asking but the smile is still plastered on my face.

"Xymon. Xy my cousin." Right! His cousin! It's been a while since I last saw that girl!

"Don't stress yourself too much. I can feel that your mom and dad will side with me." He was so full of himself. So arrogant. The arrogant and sexy Tae just showed up in front of me.

I rolled my eyes to him. He really think my mom will side him. Tsk. If mom will know about this she'll freak out!

I got Kuma on the floor and pat him.

"So much confidence Taehyung." I told him.

"Of course! Your mom already told me he loves me as her son. And based from what Isaw earlier with your dad's expression he was proud of me. Well I can't blame him, what else could he ask for? I am a complete package." That's when I left him standing in the livibg room. As he said his speech he was walking back and forth and he even close his eyes, feeling the moment.

I laughed so hard when I heard him shouted in the living room.

"Yah Jennie Kim!"

I shook my head at his cuteness.
