Chapter 18

"You've been so silent Jennie unnie." I was cut from my trance of thoughts when Lisa came in my room immediately getting Kuma from the floor. She put Kuma on my bed and dive in my bed. I was looking at my face to my reflection in the mirror. When I got in the dorm I went directly inside my room.

And now that I think about it I've been staring at my face for 15 minutes now! Am I crazy or what?

"Unnie!" I faced Lisa directly when she shouted. She was smiling like an innocent girl. My brows furrowed at the sight of her. She makes me annoyed now.

"What?" I strictly asked.

"So something happened huh?" She was tapping her thighs while figuring out what had happened earlier. "Did oppa kissed you?" My eyes widen when she asked something that's very impossible to happen. I mean it's not impossible, wait what am I saying?!

"No he didn't!" I sound like I am defensive but it is true we didn't kiss!

"So what did he do?" She pouted. She's giving up that easily tsk.

"We talked." I shortly said. Well that's what really happened. Aside from the fact that he just turned my world upside down in just a minute or two and then topic changes.

"I really think there's still something...aside from talking. Mm...did he said something that hurt your feelings?"

"No he didn't. We talked mostly...he said he missed me and that you know he opens topic about things to keep me company."

"Ahh~ so that's what happened and yet you're here in your room like he just said something. I thought you had a fight. You're silent unnie we know, but not really like this." Lisa is now rolling back and forth to my bed.

"Actually..." Should I tell her what's bothering me? Now that Lisa is asking and she's concern, I should tell her right?

"He asked me about what I think of him.."

"What do you mean unnie? Like if he's a friend?" I nodded to her and lazily sat down at the edge of my bed. Kuma crawled slowly by my side and so I pat his fur.

"Well if you're gonna ask me, based from my observation you like him unnie. You really do." I sighed deeply to her statement.

"Yes Lisa. I do like him."

"Then tell him." She advice like a pro. Tsk this innocent lady freaks me out.

"It's not that easy you know."

"It's easy unnie. You're just making it complicated. If you like him tell him, if you don't then push him away. It has been months since we know Bangtan and you have all the time to tell him not to bother you but you didn't." That made me shut my mouth. This innocent one is not that innocent at all!

"Honestly I'm afraid about this consequences. Like what happened between me and Kai sunbaenim...fans might hate him and fans might say something bad to us."

"Are you seriously making us as a hindrance? Look unnie I'm not saying you're gonna have a relationship now, what I am saying is thay you should tell him about your feelings."

This girl is full of sarcasm! I thought she's pointing things out to make it easier for me to open up but guess she wasn't!

"That's the point Lisa if I tell him I like him he'll be hopeful for something I am not ready to give. I am still doubting!"

"Then try to tell him Jennie." I was shocked to see Yoongi oppa slowly opening the door. At his back was Chaeng and Jisoo unnie. What is he doing here?

As if on cue he answered me. "Jin hyung made me come here to deliver something for Jisoo. I'm on my way out and I am about to bid goodbye but I heard you two so..."

I sighed heavily....things are getting complicated. I thought that when they came back from their tour everything will change because I thought we can clear things up in our minds since we have plenty of time to think but still it's not that easy.

"What have you been doing when we were on tour and when we were promoting our album?" Oppa asked.

"I am just working."

"Good for you." My brows furrowed at his response. "Let me be honest to you Jennie, among the 6 of us, I was the only one who knew about your past with V. I saw how he worked hard just to have a fit body. I saw how he practiced saying cheesy words just to impress you. I saw how miserable he was and happy he was when he's with you. And lastly I saw how proud he was to even show your mom his real deal with you. If you are concern about what fans will say, he isn't. What he's concern about is how you will treat him amidst being an idol who is just in love." Lisa was just nodding at my side, agreeing to what oppa has said.

"You just need to be open to him Jen." Jisoo unnie seconded.

I know that I'm pretty scared about this but I just don't know what to do especially if I lose something! I can't just think about myself. How about my members? How about their dreams?

"Don't mind us Jennie. When you're happy we are too. It's time for you to choose yourself now." Chaeyoung said to me in English. Oppa and Jisoo unnie were looking to her like she just backstabbed the two of them.

"Okay I'm outta here." We all laugh when oppa realized that he's done with us. Caeyoung followed from behind of him, walking him out our dorm.

"What did Jin oppa gave you unnie?" Lisa stood up and walked towards unnie. She pulled out something from her pocket and show us a key.

"It's actually another apartment. He told me it might be difficult for them to visit us so they decided to have an apartment which we can go to meet them. Their manager knows about it."

I stood up and just arranged my makeup on my side table. Unnie went near me and caressed my back.

"Are you happy when you met him earlier?" I nodded. "I didn't understand what Chaeyoung has said earlier cause it's English but when she said 'choose yourself' I also think the same thing. You've sacrificed almost everything for us. We are not worried to you cause we know Taehyung will always be there to support and respect you." She said that with a sincere smile on her lips.

"We trust him unnie, we know he'll protect you." Chaeyoung said after she came back.

I am now confident to decide since I have this understanding sisters slash members with me. And now I think this is the time I need to choose myself, just this once.
