Chapter 8

Taehyung's POV

I woke up with a noisy surroundings. What's going on? I heard my members talking outside, probably in the living room.

What's going on? What's happening? What's the commotion all about?

When I turned on my phone it's still 4 in the morning.

So much for a new year eh?

Yeontan was shaking his tail as he realized that I'm awake. I caressed him, he stick out his tongue.

"What's going on outside Tannie?" I asked, but stupid of me. Of course he can't answer. He laid beside me on my bed, but then I got up.

I fixed my T-shirt and my hair as I walked towards my door. I opened it and was greeted by my members.

"Good morning... Are you having a meeting without me?" I greeted them surprised, and asked.

"Taehyung." RM hyung called, I looked at him. His eyes were screaming something. I was confused by their reactions as they saw me.

"I told you to be quite. Look what happen." J-hope hyung hissed.

"Why? What's wrong? Are you hiding something?"

Yoongi hyung stood up from his seat and sighed. "Since he's here, maybe we should tell him." Yoongi hyung said and Jin hyung nodded.

"What?"

"Jennie and Kai is dating." Jin hyung answered.

I didn't say anything. I'm still processing what he just said. Jennie and Kai. Dating. So?

Wait! Kim Jennie? Kai of Exo? My eyes widen at the thought of Jennie dating Kai. So that's what they were talking the last time? That's the business that Kai doesn't want me to get on his way? That's what Jennie is hiding from me?

Ever since that short talk that I have with her on the last show that they attended, I haven't seen her because she said she's not feeling well, and that she wanted me to focused on our tour.

But now what? I just know that she was dating? What makes it worse is that she lied to me.

I clenched my hands into a fist.

"Taehyung calm down, maybe she has a reason why she didn't tell you anything." Jimin tapped my shoulders as he said that.

I looked at him and smirked. "And you expect me to believe that?" I asked him savagely.

"Kim Taehyung, why would you be mad? It's not as if you have a relationship with her." Yoongi hyung cut me with his savageness. My eyes moisten as I heard him said that. Yeah right. I can't be jealous for nothing.

"Taehyung, you can talk to her. But don't let your emotions take over you. A lot of fans are hating her." Jin hyung said.

Out of nowhere tears streamed down from my eyes. I feel the pain that I felt 8 years ago. But the different is that I'm unconsciously hurting myself for nothing.

Maybe she hide it from me because I'm not important to her. Maybe because  I'm just a friend. Or maybe because she doesn't want me to get involve with her business.

"Hyung don't be jealous. Jennie noona is facing a favor that her agency asked her to do." Jungkook exclaimed. I am confused to what he just said.

"What do you mean?" RM hyung asked, he must be confused as well.

"I talked with Lisa. She told me that she did it to cover one of their sunbaenim's illegal doings."

After I heard that I went back inside my room to get my car keys and my coat.
