Chapter 14

Jennie's POV

"3...2...1... Merry Christmas!!!" We all chant as the time indicates that Christmas has arrived! We greeted one another. I hugged Jisoo unnie, Rosé and Lisa. I also caressed our pets. Kai and Kuma, Dalgom, Leo, Luca, Lily, and Louis.

I just bowed at RM and J-hope oppa. Suga oppa tapped my shoulders in order for us to hear Taehyung clearing his throat. Jimin hugged the side of Chaeyoung. Jungkook and Lisa did a Thai greeting which earn a laugh from us. Jin oppa and Jisoo unnie bump their fists as if they are just buddies.

I was stunned when Taehyung went in front of me and smile widely.

"Merry Christmas Jennie Kim." He greeted. I saw Jisoo unnie getting the attention of the others and motion them to go back inside our dorm and we are left standing alone.

We are here in our rooftop, we thought that this place would be perfect for sightseeing the city lights of Seoul filled with fireworks.

It was just hours when he confessed to me and I accepted his feelings but seems like everything went back to the beginning. I feel like this isn't real and here he is standing in front of me proving that this is all true.

"Merry Christmas." I greeted back.

The smile on his mouth became wider, don't know if that makes sense but I really can see that he's very happy. It is written on his face.

"I...love...you." I didn't expect him to say those words. His voice was low but I heard him clearly. It wakes the butterflies that were asleep in my stomach.

"Huh?" Was all I say. Stupid mouth! Stupid Jennie.

He laughed at me. Literally! He's laughing so hard. He was holding his stomach, his eyes were glittering. Tears can be seen due to his laugh.

I playfully slap his arms, I felt his muscles flexing. He has been going to the gym eh?

"Sorry...hahaha." He stop himself from laughing and I just rolled my eyes. I don't know if he's being serious when he said those words that's why I'm making him say it again. But since he's being playful he just laugh at me.

I turn around and start to walk away from him but I feel his hand holding my right arm making me turn my gaze to him again.

His expression is now different. He's serious now.

Then he move towards me and hug me. He swayed our bodies as he hummed a music on my right ear. His humming 'Cant help falling in love' and that gesture makes my system go somersault!

"I am serious when I said let's start anew, I am more serious when I said I like you. And I am so so serious when I said I love you. I mean it Kim." He whispered right on my ear. At that statement I hugged him back. So tight.

I'm so happy! This is the best Christmas so far. Me hugging him and knowing what he really feels towards me.

He pulled from our hug, he's smiling but I can see that he's teasing me. It was a sincere smile and I did the same to him. I smiled at him. He caressed my face from my forehead to my nose down to my lips.

Then he lightly kiss my forehead and I close my eyes as I feel his lips on my forehead.

"Do you know the 5 senses?" He suddenly asked.

My brows furrowed, is he teasing me again. He must've realized that I think he's starting to tease me again so I earn soft chuckles from him. Instead of me getting angry to him I just found myself laughing.

"What do you mean by 5 senses? Sense of hearing? Touching?" I asked him and he nodded at me. He looks adorable with a big smile flashed on his face. His eyes were smiling also.

Weird right? I know but he's the only man who can flip my world upsidedown!

"Of course Tae I know that! That was discussed in school!" I told him. He went yo my back and hug me from behind. His arms were place above mine. His head was at the right side of my head.

If I will turn my head on we will probably be kissing.

"Good to know that you know the 5 senses." He mumble. I slap his arm. He's really teasing me.

"Easy Jen. Don't worry if you say yes to me, I'll tell you what's 5 senses for me."

I didn't say anything, I just want to stop the moment and enjoy. Him hugging me from behind, his arms on my arms. His head beside my head. What a perfect moment.

"I should go and meet your mom."

The last time that mom came to our dorm. She scolded us. She told us why we are letting guys to go in our dorm, and how safe we are with them around.

But when she realized that it was Taehyung, she talked with him alone. And until now, Tae didn't tell me what my mom told him. He even offered mom for a drive after that moment.

Taehyung asked permission to mom before going to our dorm after that. He keeps on reminding me to tell mom my whereabouts. And it's not like I'm not cool with it. It's just that I'm not a kid anymore! I can decide  by myself.

"Why? Why should you meet her?" I asked.

"Well I should personally tell her that I'm courting you. I know that she'll probably scold me but I will do it. For you and for us." His statement made me want to kiss him. On the cheeks!

He's very sweet I can't believe it.

"Will you be okay meeting her?"

"Of course Jen. I'll meet her after our New Year event in America. I will do it first thing when I arrive here. Want to come?"

"Yes." I agreed.

We stayed there for a couple of minutes then we went back to our dorm.

I was about to ask why is it so quiet. But when I saw my members bowing their heads while sitting and the six boys standing behind them with their serious faces. I walked towards them only to see my mom. Her hands resting on her hips. Her eyes were fuming.

"Mom." I called.

"I thought we are clear when I said it's not safe to let boys come here." Instead of greeting she threw me with a serious question.

"Auntie." Taehyung greeted her, his box smile showing. Why do he needs to smile like that? Can't he see mom is mad?!

"V we talked about this already." She question Tae as well.

Taehyung seemed like he didn't hear my mom. He went to her and hug her.

"Merry Christmas auntie. We just decide to celebrate Christmas with them." He explained.

Then slowly the mad face of my mom fades. She sighed heavily.

"Just be careful next time." Okay what just happen? The four of us look at one another confused at what my mom just said. While the six guys were smirking, their gazes turn to me and Taehyung.

"By the way auntie, I am courting Jennie."

My mouth went agape when he confidently told my mom about our status. Our members' reactions were the same as mine.

While Taehyung? He was smiling at my mom like nothing happens.

You're so dead Kim Taehyung!
