Chapter 30

Days have passed so fast. Nothing really change with my schedule. I just spend most of my time in the company practicing for our concert. Chaeng's teaser video was released and it became the fastest teaser video to reach millions of views and like on YouTube.

Even though it was a teaser video Chaeng already is breaking lots of achievement so far. That's why she is really putting all her best to her solo performance that she is gonna perform during our concert.

While Jisoo unnie is still okay? I guess. Unnie is getting busier each day. It's either she will go home late or she will stay in the location where they are shooting for her drama. Then we will just meet her during practices like this.

Lisa is busy making a lot of dance covers. She is going to be busy soon since she will handle some trainees in the Youth with You.

A lot of fans were shocked last night by the unexpected collab of YG plus and BigHit Entertainment and that we will be having our Weverse accounts.

It was a great oppurtunity though. It's not gonna be hard for us to interact with BH artists especially the boys.

Speaking with the boys, Tae remain consistent with what he assured with my dad. He visits dad's company from time to time. He said he find it interesting to handle a company. While Lyndon is making me feel uneasy. He keeps on following me wherever I go. He's more than a stalker! And it horrifies me!

The six guys are busy with their private lives. Jk is busy transferring his things to his new house. Jimin and Hoseok oppa is helping him. Jimin came to visit Chaeyoung last time during her music video shoot. Chaeyoung told me he looks like a mummy, because he wore a lot of clothes just so fans would not recognize him. I was laughing that time when I heard it.

RM and Suga oppa were busy with their songs that they will release soon. They want to have a comeback as soon as possible. I am also looking forward to it!

As for Jin oppa I haven't heard any news from him. He's just cool by his own. I know he is doing fine.

"Okay just like the usual routine Jisoo will practice her solo performance first, then Jennie, next Rosé, lastly Lisa." Our production head said. The director called unnie's name and she went to the stage and prepared.

As for the three of us, we cheered for her in the audience place. We're very sad that we still cannot perform with the Blinks in front of us. But we are still gonna do our best!

I know that most of the Blinks cannot see our performance because they are still online tickets being sold and not everybody can purchased it but I know Blinks can find a way to see it.

I've also became a fan of an idol, I've watched a lot of illegal streaming online. I can't blame them you know. All they want is to share it with others.

And it is not so bad at all.

"Go Kim Jisoo!" Lisa and Chaeyoung cheered. While I was just raising our lightstick as unnie's performance bagan. Unnie nailed her performance and we all clapped to her.

I prepared at the backstage for my performance. I put on my in-ear to hear my own voice. As my performance started, I cannot find the other girls in the audience area. I look at every corner as I dance in beat with the music.

Where are they? As soo as I finish my performance I went to our dressing room, and there I found the girls with....

"Mom?" I called. Mom faced me and sighed in relief. She embraced me while I look at my members whose surprise as I am.

"What's wrong mom?" I asked her as we pulled off from our hug.

"Yeah auntie, is there something wrong?" Unnie added. They look so worried to my mother.

"What did your father let you do this time?" And that's when I het it. I didn't told my members that dad is here in Korea. And that he visited me last time, and that he met Taehyung.

I only told them that Lyndon is here to see me. I close my eyes in irritation.

"Uncle is here?" Not a statement but a question from Lisa.

Mom didn't answer Lisa instead she looked at me. "I run over Taehyung in your father's company. I know something is up Jennie."

"Taehyung oppa is in your father's company unnie?" Chaeng asked. They really look so lost.

"What is he doing there?" Again unnie ask.

I calmed myself before lookong at the three of them. I am so nervous right now that I think my heart will go out from my chest.

"Mom...let's talk somewhere private. Please." Mom once again sigh and she went out to our dressing room, before I follow her I look at my members again.

"I'll explain later. Excuse me." And followed mom.

As I got out from the dressing room, mom was holding her head. She is problematic to everything.

"What happened Jennie? Why is Taehyung there? What did your father told you?" She ask.

"Dad visited me last time. He brought Lyn-lyndon. To ask me for marriage." I know mom already got tge idea, she covered her face with her palms. I went near her and caressed her back. "Taehyung was in dad's company to fight for me mom. He wants to prove to dad how much he loves me."

"Does he know the consequence Jennie?" Mom's eyes were bloodshot. She's about to cry.

I then realize the consequences that is soon to happen. Dad will let him choose between his career and me. Just like what happen to dad. Mom used to be a performer like us. But because of their belief that she should take the responsibility on handling the company and marry someone for business which is Dad. She let go her dream and accept Dad.

"This is different mom, he loves me." I am on the verge of crying but I controlled my feelings.

"It's the same Jennie. He'll end up like your me. He will end up taking a responsibility that he never really wants. I don't want to pass to you the same mistake that both me and your dad had done before. As much as possible, let's not drag Taehyung into this."

"What do you mean Mom?"

"Let him go Jennie." I blink a couple of times to what my mom told me. "I know it's hard, but he will understand. I don't want Taehyung to experience hardships just like how I am facing everything before."

Mom hug me again and walk away. I was left standing alone until I heard the door clicked. I composed myself and act like nothing happens.

I went back inside the dressing room. The three were sitting now, and they all lift their heads to me when I entered.

"H-hi." I awkwardly said.

"Cry now." Unnie said and unexpectedly tears started flowing from my eyes. The maknaes went near me and hugged me so tightly.

"We heard everything unnie. Sorry for evesdropping. We didn't know about what you've went through." Chaeyoung said.

"We're here unnie." Lisa added.

"Will you stop everything with Tae now?" Unnie asked seriously.

I sniff so hard before answering. "I don't know what to do unnie. Taehyung told me to choose him this time and I am, but I am afraid."

"So you're gonna tell him Jennie."  She concluded.

"How?"

"Tell him about your situation. But if you choose him now, your dad will put the blame on him. If you choose your family, he will be rejected and I know he will stop. But he will not come back to you anymore."

I cried once again when I heard all she said. She's right. Whatever I choose there's a risk.

"You're not alone unnie, let's face Taehyung oppa and your dad together."

What will happen now?
