Chapter 38.1.2

I notice that Taehyung is acting weird,  but I didn't bother asking him what's wrong. I don't want to spoil our date.

"Tae?" I stop him from walking. We are holding each other's hand. He faced me, raising his brows. He fix my face mask to properly cover my face using his free hand.

"Why?" He asked after.

"Let's date officially. Please." I sound so desperate. And I even made my voice so firm so he won't sense that I am so near to stammer.

He didn't say anything instead he embraced me. Some people are looking at us, but since were very much covered with our clothes, they thought we are just a normal couple.

"I should be the one asking that Jennie." He whispered.

I chuckled to what he said and look at him in the eyes. I saw the contentment in his eyes, I saw different emotions overflowing. And I can't deny the fact that I am loving that sincere eyes of his.

"Well I asked first and you can't do anything about it, unless you don't want to." I sound like a kid right now. His eyes became smaller and I know he is smiling under his mask.

"What else can I do? You left me with no choice." He really do sounds like he can't do anything about it! I look at him with irritation in my eyes. So he don't want to?! Tsk.

I walk ahead of him leaving him behind.

I don't know if he's following from behind but when I was walking miles away to where we stopped, I look back to him. That's when I found out that he wasn't following me.

I jog to where I left him but he's nowhere! I scan the area but there's no signs of him. My heart started hammering so fast in my chest. I keep on looking around and I am so close to crying!

I went near to a lady merchant and asked her if she saw Taehyung, but she said no.

I don't have my phone with me! And I know he didn't brought his phone with him!

The merchant must've realized that I am about to cry so she stood up, she held my arms to comfort me.

"Are you looking for your boyfriend young lady?" She asked. I didn't mind her question and just nod at her. Tears began to flow from my eyes. She shush me and look for Taehyung though she din't know his face.

I was about to shout his name. But a huge hands held my shoulders from behind. I turn around and saw his concern expression.

I slap hard his hand on my shoulders and cried my heart out!

"Hey why are you crying?" He asked. How dare he ask!

I have no energy to speak because of my sobs. I even hiccupped, I din't care if he finds me cute in front of him.

I am so worried and here he is acting like nothing happen!

"Are you her boyfriend? She was looking for you young man. Next time don't leave her alone." The merchant said to Taehyung, that's when he realized that I was looking for him. He embraced me tightly and kiss the top of my head, he whispered his apologies to me and I just nod.

"My wife can't stay away from me for too long ajuma." (ma'am, auntie, or older lady).

"Aigoo, so the both of you are married? What a cute couple."

"We just got married yesterday, we fought about something, maybe that's the reason why she said I am her boyfriend. But actually I am his husband." He was so proud saying that to the merchant. I pinch the side of his body earning a low chuckle from him.

I look up to him but my arms are still wrapped around his body. He wiped off the tears stain from my face and he kissed my forehead. The merchant was in awe at the sight of us. The merchant gave both us a bracelet that is like a couple thing. She said it was a sign of purity and love.

Tae was about to get a money to pay the merchant but she insisted and said it was her wedding gift.

I shook my head and was about to deny that we aren't married but Tae bid his goodbyes and pulled me out from that place.

I thought we will go back to their house, but then he brought me to the beach. We stood under the shed of the trees. He put flat his jacket on the sand and he guided me to sit down and I did.

"I love the idea of me and you marrying each other." He said as he lean to the trunk of the tree and close his eyes.

He look so peaceful. I just look at him the whole time, when the wind breeze blows, his bangs covered his eyes. So I sat properly to face him and was about to set aside his bangs, when his left hand caught mine and he put it down.

He then open his eyes. He look at me so lovingly. He took off his mask and he did the same with mine. There is no other people here. And I am so relieved with that.

His next movement made me so nervous and anticipated at the same time. He pulled me so suddenly, our faces are so close! I think there's only 2 inches space between us!

"Marry me." He wasn't asking but what he said is enough to wake up every volts in my system. My heart is beating so fast. His right hand got something from his pocket and that's when I realized that it was a ring.

"I saw this one earlier and I bought it. I saw how worried you are when you're looking for me and I felt so happy that you were acting that way. Having you here with me is enough for me to say that I wanna spend my next days with you. I didn't't realize that I'll be proposing to you like this, right here. I know it's not romantic and we just started to be in this kind of relationship but I don't wanna lose you anymore. Not now. Not tomorrow. Not always." Because of his sudden confession I was flattered and happy.

I didn't say anything to him instead I initiated the kiss. He was taken aback by my sudden action but he kiss me back later on.

I grab his right hand and slid the ring on my left ring finger but our lips are still locked and tasting each other.

It took us a few minutes to pull from our kiss. Both of us were panting. I look down on my finger and touch the ring. My forehead was touching his lips. No words came out from our mouths.

We were savouring the moment.

"I love you Jennie." That was the most emotional way of him declaring his love towards me. When I look at him, his eyes glints and a tear fell off from his eyes. I kiss both of his eyes and lean my forehead on his.

"I love you too Taehyung." I said.
