Chapter 34

"Ms. Kim, your dad is expecting you." Dad sent a driver to our dorm. Jisoo unnie open the door when the doorbell rang, and she let this guy in a suit to enter.

"Why?" I simply asked. The guy in the suit didn't answer instead he just nod his head.

I did not bother changing my clothes. I only wore my pajamas and a sweater since it's so cold outside paired with a big Adidas coat. As I go out from our dorm,the girls followed from behind. They also wear the same thing as I am wearing and they hopped inside the car not waiting me.

"Don't ask unnie. We will be with you. We are your backup." Lisa said. Then she attached her seatbelt. Chaeyoung just nod at her and did the same, putting her seatbelt as well. Jisoo unnie sat in the front.

I sighed as I am feeling guilty with everything. All of this is happening because of me. If only I didn't show Taehyung a chance to court me, and if only I just agreed to my parents. Maybe my members will not be involved with this.

As I hopped inside the car, Chaeng whose sitting beside me buckled my seatbelt for me. I smiled at her as a thank you. She smiled to me too.

"Have you talked to him?" Lisa asked from our back. I shook my head in instant. It's almost a month since I last saw him. I never got a chance to hear his voice ever again.

"It's okay unnie. I know oppa will go back for you. He'll come back." Lisa tried to comfort me with her words and I have to say that it's working.

"I don't really know what you are saying back there, since you're speaking in English. But yeah, he's different Jennie." We laughed at unnie's remark. Then unnie faced the guy in the suit whose seriously driving. "If you say anything to your boss, you're dead, okay?" She threatened. The guy nodded in furious.

Minutes after the long drive we arrived in my dad's company. That's when we realized what we are wearing. We literally just wore our pajamas for God's sake! The four of us faced the driver in disbelief.

"Um, you can use the private elevator Ms. Kim." We headed to the parking area where the private elevator is. We entered inside, and the driver just clicked the button to where my dad is expecting me. Then he bowed.

"The driver isn't coming with us?" Chaeyoung asked.

"What do you think Chaeng?" Lisa answered sarcastically gaining a furrowed expression from Chaeyoung.

Good thing that the girls came with me. If not, I don't think I'll be calm as of now.

When we reached the floor, the girls headed out first. Some guard bowed at us as we took the way to the end of the hallway where my dad's office is.

"I feel like I am a princess." Lisa said. She even flip her hair feeling the moment.

"That's just a feeling Lisa. It's not real." Now it's Chaeyoung's turn to be sarcastic to Lisa. Jisoo unnie laughed when Lisa pouted.

The guard opened the door of my dad's office and I was left standing when I saw the boys. RM, Jin, Suga, Hoseok, Jimin and Jungkook. Then there is a girl sitting across my dad and it's Xy. Tae's cousin.

"It's been days since I last saw you Jennie." I faced the lady whose walking towards me after she kissed my members.

"Mom." She hugged me.

"I'm sorry." The first thing she said when she embraced me. I am still surprised to see the boys here.

Mom motioned me to come in and I obliged. The guard closed the door. My members sat beside Xy. They are not surprise like I am.

"Why are you here?" I asked the boys and Xy.

"I'll handle your company Jennie. As promised." I was hoping that Taehyung is here, so I scan the room.

"Hyung is not here noona." Jungkook answered like he knew what I am thinking.

"Then why are you here then?" Lisa asked him, he open his arms so Lisa can walk to him.

"It's because V hyung doesn't want Xy to come here alone." He answered. "How about you, why are you here?"

"Same reason. I don't want Jennie to come here."

My dad cleared his throat to get our attention. We looked at him and he sat upright.

"The engagement is called off. Since Ms. Xy offered help."

"Really uncle? Wow that's a great news!" Chaeng exclaimed.

"But Lyndon is coming right now to say something to you." I honestly expect that dad will say that. It may be a good thing that the engagement is off but then knowing dad, he still wants me to be married.

"I hope you will talk to him sensibly." Dad said. I nod at him.

"We feel so empty without Taehyung." RM oppa said, others agreed to him.

"I feel so sorry to Taehyung. I've said a lot of bad things to him."

"Yes you should say sorry to him." Jin oppa said, Jisoo unnie slap his arms and he hissed in pain. "What? I just agreed to her."

"It's okay Jisoo. I really do need to say sorry to him."

"I don't feel sorry to him for letting him work here. It's a practice for him if he will really continue to pursue Jennie." Dad added.

"You still need to Dad, you agreed to let him do the deliveries. And I think he'll stop pursuing me." I said.

"I should be the one sorry to him for letting him deliver stuff." We all faced the voice behind us. It was Lyndon who spoke. "And if he stop pursuing you, then you do it. If you're willing to do so." He walked near us and bowed to my father and to Mom.

"Why? Are you gonna stop bothering Jennie?" Jisoo savagely asked.

Lyndon looked at her, and Jin oppa being dramatic, he covered unnie's eyes so they won't stare at each other's eyes. Oppa earned another slap from unnie but he still covered her eyes.

"I can't force Jennie to like me, and no one can beats true love." He sincerely said. The boys clapped their hands as if he just delivered a very touching speech.

"So what now?" Dad asked.

"We will go to Daegu Jennie, it's your time to pursue him."

"Yeah you should Jennie." Mom agreed.

Maybe it's about time to lower my pride and follow what my heart desires. And it's always him. It will always be him.

"You sure?" Suga oppa asked Lyndon. I was confused by his question so he elaborate his question. "I mean meeting V would be too hard for you Lyndon and also for you Jennie."

"Well it's okay for me to receive punches from him if that makes him better." Lyndon confidently said.

Oppa smirked at him and faced me. "I'll be fine, I know he will understand. Because that's him. That's my Taehyung."

My members ohhs~ and ahhs~ can be heard all over the room.

"Do what you must do Jennie." Dad lastly said.

I came out the office with Lyndon.
