Shattered II: Better Feeling

Chapter 9- Months

𝚂𝚒𝚍𝚎: 𝙱𝚛𝚢𝚊𝚗?-

Months Passed. I'm now heading over to Colony High. I feel proud of myself for making it this far. It's now August. The First Day Of school starts soon. I'm proud i made friends. I'm proud i've improved in my well being.

08/12:

I stepped onto the Bus. I waited as i made my arrival to the School. The Bus finally pulled into the campus. I got out as soon as the kids stopped rushing out. I slowly walked into the school and found my first class. If you guys are wondering, Here's my schedule:

P1: RSC Band
P2: RSC Math
P3: RSC Gym
P4: RSC Tech
P5: RSC Ability Learning
P6: RSC English
P7: RSC Biology

You see, I wasn't expecting to have to come on campus today. I had plans today. But as it turns out, It seems like i'll have to face them since i heard they are here.

Maybe i can stay hidden? Yeah. Let's go with that. This is something only i may be able to do. I look around the school and don't see them anywhere. I grab the folder in my hands and walk down the halls. I grab my hat and pull it down, Only revealing one purple eye. I see a person nearby, then two, then three, and then the number increases from there. Fuck, How do i get through? I keep walking and see the Classroom. 415. I open the door and i see a student peek interest in my activity. I better do this quickly. I head inside and turn the knob of the door upwards, locking it. I then turn around to the teacher.

"Ah, Bryan! Welcome! I assume you have the folder?" She asks me. I hand over the folder and slide the folded paper at the bottom towards my hand. I succeed in taking it and follow the teacher. "I gotta give you credit, You are really good with getting me this information. Thanks for that."

I only nod my head because this really doesn't interest me. I only stare at the teacher as she skims the readings. "Uh-huh, Mhmm. Hmm, New plan then. Hey, I need you to get the Folder in that same Cabinet again. It's marked with a certain letter and a number. X2 as it says here. There's something called an Ultimate. If you can manage to get it, You'll be done for the day."

I grip my hat and re-arrange it. I head towards the door and open it. I peek at the teacher and say "5 Minutes, Put a timer for that amount and expect me back by then."

"Got it." I grab the door knob and push it downwards, opening it. I walk outside and a student bumps into me. "Sorry, I wasn't looking." I don't respond to him, I only walk past him to get down the hallway.

"Hey! Not even a it's okay or something?!" He says, trying to catch up to me.

I look at him and pull my hat down. "You're annoying."

He chuckles and backs off slowly. "Listen, I rubbed off the wrong way and i get that but um what are you doing here exactly?"

"I attend to this school. That goes without question. Now leave me alone. I have things to be doing right now." I say, coldly.

"Jeez, you are hard to talk to." he mumbles.

I walk away and head past the corridor. I enter the 100 building. I look to my left and my right. I recognized a blue haired female. It's Melissa. I grip my hat and slowly walk towards her. Why is she near the office? Never the less, Why now? No matter. 

I pull my hat down and walk past. "Yeah, I heard He should be here soon enough! I can't wait to see him!"

I mumble under my breath once i enter the office. "Phew. I sure hope Nicole is almost done giving the created human my memories. This is a disaster. If we switched positions, I would have been the one finished with the Virtual World sooner and she would have gotten caught quickly."

I see the cabinet and look at the camera facing me. I act like i'm leaving but then immediately throw my pencil at it. It breaks the glass and stabs inside, It's disabled now. Smoke is spreading from it as spark is falling.

I observe the cabinet and open it. After searching for a moment, I found the X3 File and see one titled "Virtual World I" and another named "Virtual World II". She must have presented this as a project before. I take the files and leave the room. I'm not allowing her to get caught like this. The student from before is nearby and runs into me again. I held onto the documents and activate my ability. I stare at him. "If you get near me again, It's over for you."

He chuckles again and i look around. Everyone's watching, Even Melissa. I grip my hat and walk away. I leave the building and get back to Building 400. Classroom 415. I enter again and give her the X3 File. 

"5 minutes and 4 seconds. You're 4 seconds late." She says, Smirking.

I sigh and answer for my tardiness. "Apologies, A brat was trying to get in my way. I believe he's following me. Anyways, How's the file?"

She takes a minute to skim it before answering. "Yeah this sums it up pretty well. Thank you."

I nod and ask. "Do you think they will believe he's the ultimate user?"

She shakes her head. "No, since it's all going to be controlled by Nicole and her lab group. He'll believe he's the Ultimate user but really it's just fake tricks done by them. His only ability is fire anyways."

I nod my head once more. "Yeah, He'll fight me one day. Wait until he see's what happens when the true one reveals himself."

She laughs and then wipes a tear. "I'll be waiting. Until then Bryan."

She waves and i waved goodbye back. I leave and head back home. When i head back to the entrance, I notice there is a problem. The boy still follows me. I pull out my cellphone and ring a friend. "Hey, Kyra? FKS1." 

I heard her immediately grab something and she teleported to my location quickly. "Hey, Where is he?"

I point to the direction and the kid begins to sweat buckets.

"Kid, I'll give you a second to leave him alone. If you don't walk away, You'll leave with your head blasted!" Kyra says to him. I look at him unfazed. He runs away and i look at Kyra.

"Here, Take these. Some are blueprints to pass to Nicole. If she fails it, Tell her i'll send a model."

She giggles and nods. "I bet she'll need one for sure. But hey, She actually finished three weeks ago. This character is going through some ability phases. Sad that it's fictional to us and not him. Well here's the thing, We're planning on taking him out a little after he escapes. We made a alternate him who thinks differently but takes on the normal mentality attire."

I nod and pull her goggles down. "You'll need these. See you."

She teleports away and hollers. "See you in a few months!"

I'll at the very least appear when i feel it's time. 

I walk away as i hold the folded paper. 

Only time will tell what happens now.
