Part 9 "S.C.Y."

MINA'S POV

What a day. I'm bored here at the house. I miss those 2 girls already. What can I do here? She roam around her room and just look for the cabinets. She open all those. As usual, all her pictures before, then their old pictures with Momo and Sana.

She also saw a painting of her. Below the painting is the artist abbreviated name as S.C.Y. She wonders who gave her that painting and she bet that it's a good painter. She took a picture of it coz whenever she sees it, its too sentimental and familiar somehow. Its her favorite painting now. She kept it again and sat down on her bed.

"Should I meet Momo?" Mina said to herself. When she about to call Momo, she saw the screen of her phone Momo calling her. "What a good timing." She added.

"Hello Mina!" Momo said on the phone.

"Hi, are you a fortune teller? I was about to call you but you preceded first." Mina smiled.

"Hehe, good timer, am i? I was about to invite you, if you are free. I know a good coffee shop here. I will just inform your parents that I will meet you up." Momo said.

"No need Momo.  I'm not a child duh! What time? I'll come over." Mina said.

"No, I'll just pick you up. I'm on my way there" Momo said.

"Oh okay, I'll be ready for a few minutes." Mina replied.

Momo: "Okay bye, see yah"

Mina: "Okay, drive safely Momo" as she hungs up the call. 

After an half hour, Momo just arrived at Myoui's Mansion. " This is way too far and hard to look." Momo said to herself as she scan the place of Myoui's.

"Momoring! Let's go!" Mina shouted and jumped to her like a child.

" Okay okay easy! Hahaha" Momo just laughed at her.

They already in the car. Momo is the driver and beside her is Mina. Mina didn't want to use her driver because she's too bored when she's with him. Of course, he's an mid-age man. Then suddenly she remembered the painting.

"Momo, aside from you and Sana, do i have any friends?" Mina confusedly said.

"Yes you have so many friends."
"Shit, my tongue slipped" Momo said to herself.

"What?" Mina asked.

Momo: "No it's nothing. Why did you ask?"

Mina: I'm just curious. I have a painting of me and the painter is S.C.Y. Is he or she's my friend? I just want to know if you knew someone with that abbreviated name."

Momo: (thinking)

Mina: And if do have many friends, why only you and Sana were the only one who wants too see me? And why I can't remember my other friends? Its too weird. Hahaha!

Momo: Oh we're here. (Changed the topic)

We already got off the car when I saw the coffee shop. It is named as SCY's Coffee shop. SCY?! Same as what on my painting. It is just coincidence? I'll ask Momo later. We went inside the coffee. The place was cozy and good yet so familiar.

She look at the walls, mostly paintings. She checked out some of it and saw the same. "SCY..." She said to herself.

"Mina, come let's sit over there."
Pointing the round table with red sofa and beside with the biggest painting. I looked at it. Looks like me.

"Momo, about what I've said, the painting of SCY that I have at home, it's the same with these paintings inside of this shop. Even the penmanship look." Mina showed the picture of the painting she found a while ago at her cabinet.

"Let's talk about it later okay?" Momo smiled. "Let's order something first." she added.

I just nod. I don't think its not a coincidence anymore. Maybe the owner of this coffee shop is one of my acquiantances. Few minutes, we ordered 2 Iced americano and short-strawberry cake and were served fastly.

MOMO'S POV

Momo get her phone and took a picture of her foods. And remember what they've talked about with Chaeyoung.

Flashback at the hospital

"What are you planning Chaeyoung?" Momo asked.

"Please introduce me as a close friend to her. I don't want to hurry up things between us. She might avoid me if I do that." Chaeyoung said.

Jihyo overheard their conversation and meddle with them.

"What are you talking about? Mina's here! And you're planning to meet her up, Chaeyoung?!" Jihyo said with her loud voice.

"Noona, please calm down. She have reasons."Chaeyoung said.

"And what reasons that could be? For godsake Chaeyoung, are you still not in your right mind. She left you!" Jihyo said.

Jongyeon, Dahyun and Tzuyu feel the tension in the room.

"Hey, you two. Let's go outside first. Let's give them their privacy" Jongyeon talking to the two younger men. Momo, and the siblings were the only one left inside.

"Jihyo, I will be the one who explained everything okay. Just hear me out." Momo pleaded.

"Why would I Momo? You'll just want to cover your bestfriend and clean her image." Jihyo said and raised her eyebrow.

"I said stop it! You don't know anything Noona! Just don't make the situation more complicated here. Just hear her explanation." Chaeyoung begging said.

Momo started to explain everything and Jihyo just face her with a rugged look. Until she realized what Chaeyoung means.

Now she understands why. And ask for forgiveness from Momo and Chaeyoung.

When everything's fine, Momo and Chaeyoung continue the plan. Meeting up @ their coffee shop. Jihyo volunteered to give way for them and take a day off so Chaeyoung, Momo and Mina can talk.

End of flashback.

Momo go to the cashier area and look for Chaeyoung. Tzuyu said he's on the way. Momo just nod.

Few minutes later, the noise of the bells heard. A guy with a short hair and wearing comfortable jacket and a nice pants.

"Hi, Momo, sorry for being late." the guy said.

"Oh you're here. Mina, this is my friend, Son Chaeyoung. In fact, he's one of the owners of this coffee shop." Momo said. "He's also the artist behind those paintings" she added.

The eyes of the two just met. Mina looked at him and Chaeyoung just smiled at her. She's been so mesmerized by the looks of a totally stranger to her. She gulped.
