Part 10 "A Friend of Mine"

CHAEYOUNG'S POV

I'm so nervous at this time. I can't handle myself. I'm going to meet Mina. I opened the door and go to the two women's table beside with my big painting of Mina.

I approached Momo and apologized for being late. And there she is. The love of my life. Thankfully, I controlled my emotions right now. I want to cry but she will just find me weird if I do that. I want to hug her like crazy.

"Chaeyoung, control yourself forgodsake!" My mind exclaimed. She's too beautiful right now. She grows her hair long. I smiled at her after Momo introduced me as one of the owners of this shop and the painter. She just stared at me right in the eyes. "Am I making her uncomfortable?" I asked myself.

"Uhm, hi. I'm Son Chaeyoung by the way." I laid my right hand to her to shake hands, waiting for her response.

"Hello, I'm Myoui Mina or Myoui Sharon, my english name. " she take my hand and shake it. " I know all about you love." I said to myself. I saw her gummy smile.

"Uhm, my hand?" She said.

"Oh, right! I'm sorry haha. " I forgot to let go her hand. I saw her chuckled. 

"Ehem." Momo cut our momentos.

"What's your question again, Mina? About the painting you have at your house?" Momo asked.

"Yup, it has S.C.Y. Do you paint that Chaeyoung?" Mina asked me.

"What painting?" I asked as my eyebrows furrowed. I guess it's me that have an amnesia.

"Oh, this. " Mina said while showing me the picture of the painting. Yes, i gave it to her. She still has that.

" Ah, yes. I'm sorry. I can't remember because of I did many paintings of you." I said. "Oh, shit. I slipped." my mind said.

"Paintings of me? So this painting beside me is also me?" Curious asked by Mina. I just look at Momo to help me but I guess I would be the one to help myself.

"Sorry but yes, it is you." I calmly said.

"Why? Am I look like a model?" she jokingly said. She just gave me an idea.

"Actually yes. That's why you have that painting and this one. You gave me an awesome looks to become my model." I said.

"We are friends, Mina. Probably, we are close friends. That's why you're always the subject of my paintings. Pretty right?" I said to her while staring again.

"Oh, you're a friend of mine. I'm so sorry for not recognizing you. It's just weird that I have this kind of thinking hahaha. Sort of my memories were gone when I got sick." She chuckled again, showing her gummy smile. I think I'll melt because of that.

"No, it's okay. I understand. There are just times that we can't able to remember something as we grow older." Chaeyoung replied.

Suddenly, Momo's cp ring. She answered it fastly. Next to it is she's saying that she needs to go now because of an urgent matter. She leave Mina to me and bid her goodbyes. Shit, it is so awkward.

"Wanna look some of my paintings?" I said as I'm breaking the silence.

"Yeah, sure. I would love to." She said.

I guide her to the other side of the cafe, the other paintings are strawberries, lions, daisies and the penguin that make her caught her attention.

"It's so cute. I love penguins. It's like me. Haha" she laughingly said.

"Yup, you are." I compliment her.

We went also to the other paintings and so on, luckily, I limit the number of customers today so she can roam around the coffee shop. "She didn't change. She still loves my paintings. She didn't change at all." I said to myself as I taking a look at her peeking around the corner.

"Sorry for being importunate haha. I just love all the paintings you have here." Mina said to me and chuckled.

"Are you sure you're just my close friend? I feel so comfortable around you." She added.

I just smiled. "We're more than that, Mina. If you just only knew." I said to myself.
