Part 18 "The Force Love and Lies"

MINA'S POV

I arrived at my parents house, formerly our house, exactly lunch time. I bought first some doughnuts for my mom as her snack. I looked at our parking area, there are 2 unknown cars, white Tesla and a black executive car. Maybe there are some business partners were invited by my dad. I sighed and went further inside.

I went to the garden area where our maid guide me where my parents are, I gave the doughnuts to the maid and keep it. I saw an old man with an old woman sitting together. And beside him is a young guy. My mom noticed me and greeted me with the hug.

"Sweetie, come here." She guided me on the table and sit me in between her chair and in my father's chair.

"Mina, this is Mr. and Mrs. Bhuwakul, they are my business investors, and their son, Bambam." my dad said. I looked at them and saw them smiled at me so should I.

"Hi, I'm Myoui Mina. Please to meet you all." I said as I bowed.

"Hello, you look stunning lady. " Mrs. Bhuwakul said.

"Thank you." I replied.

"Now that we're all here, maybe we can discuss the main concern here." My father said.

"Of course. When is the exact date of the wedding?" Mr. Bhuwakul said while smiling to my father.

"What wedding?" I asked as my eyebrows furrowed. I started to dislike the atmosphere now.

"Sweetie, we decided to marry you off with their son. They are a good friends and reputational family. Also, they are our co-investors as well, so it's a perfect idea." my father said as he sipped his coffee.

My hands are trembling. I want to show my disappointment but I can't in front of them. So I stood up and talked to my father.

"Dad and Mom, can we talk for a moment? Just the three of us. Ahm, Mr. and Mrs. Bhuwakul, can you excuse us first?" I looked at them and they nod with a smile.

We went to the corner, little bit far enough from the Bhuwakul family.

"Dad, Mom, what's the meaning of this? Why are you marrying me off?" I said with a really frustrated tone.

"It's the best for you honey. It's for the best of everyone. And, you're in a fair age to have your own family." my dad said.

"Dad, it's not about that! I will marry whoever I want. I will just marry if I love that person. You're obviously doing this for your damn business!" I said and suddenly felt the sting on my face. My father slapped me.

"Watch your mouth, Mina. I'm doing this for you. I want you a better life. Not just better instead a perfect life." He said in angry tone.

"But this is my life! You can't just decide everything for me. Not just because I'm your daughter. I have my own mind to decide for myself." I said while in crying. My mom hug me as she cries too.

"Sweetie, sorry for forcing you, but I think your dad is right. It's all the best for you. Please, just agree with it." Mom said while she's still hugging me but I break the hug.

"I can't believe the two of you!" I yelled at them. I'm about to walk out when my father grip my arm.

"If you're just talking about that love damn of yours, I guess you didn't remember. Bambam is your long time boyfriend. He took care of you while you're sick." He said.

"So get a life and better to agree with it!" He added.

"What?" I asked in a total confusion. Is it even real? Bambam is my boyfriend? How? I can't remember him. Even if I saw him, I don't feel anything for him.

Flashback:

30 minutes earlier before Mina arrived.

Mr. Myoui: Bambam?

Bam: Yes, sir.

Mr. Myoui: I know that you know what I and your father have been discussed. It's about your marriage between you and my daughter.

Bam: Yes, I do Sir. I'll just do whatever my dad wants.

Mr. Myoui: Good to hear that. I know my daughter, and she will never agree with this. That's why I need your help.
I need you to pretend as her long time boyfriend. She got a car accident and had an amnesia, her memories got lost. But I'm thankful, she knows us. And her 2 friends. But we're keeping it all from her. I don't want to see my daughter's life to be ruined again.

Bam: But Mr. Myoui, is it the right way if we can atleast tell her the truth? I mean, she deserves to know. And she's your daughter.

Mr. Myoui: She will never know. I have reasons. I want her to totally forget those persons who ruined my daughter's life. Just help me out and I'll do it also in your business.

Still not agreeing, Bam just nodded. He don't want this kind of situation, he don't want to fool and messed up other people lives, but if it's for the sake of their business and his father's trust, he'll do anything he can. Even though he can also break not just Mina's heart, but also his lover's heart. But what can he do? He needs to sacrifice his own happiness as he's the only left heir to his family.

End of Flashback.

Mrs. Myoui looked at her husband after hearing what he said. She thinks it's not the right way to fool their daughter but every time she remember what Mina's have been through, she will just agree on what his husband to say. She can't do anything as her husband has the power in everything.

"Fix yourself and let's go back at the garden. Your boyfriend and his family were waiting for us. Trust me my daughter, it's all the best for you." His dad said and go back.

Mrs. Myoui wipe her daughter's tears and kissed her forehead and also go back. Mina just left there. She went to the comfort room and washed her face and fix again her make up. Then, she decided to go back again.

"Sorry for the interruption, haha. We had just a small talk." Mr. Myoui said as he sat down again.

" It's all right. So when is the wedding? We should set it now so they can have enough time to prepare. It's a big event." Mr. Bhuwakul said in an excited tone.

"Give me 2 months to decide." I said in a firm tone as everyone looked at me.

"Okay, if that what's you want Mina. I'll agree." Mr. Bhuwakul said and smiled at me.

I also noticed Bambam was looking at me. I guess we should also talk too. And it's all about the relationship with him my dad said a while ago.
