Part 40 "The Best"

JEONGYEON'S POV

Three days had passed and thankfully, Chaeyoung's surgery executed well. His next procedure is to undergo chemotherapies. I don't know how long it will take but the doctor said, Chaeyoung still unsafe and under monitoring.

The couple Saida also went back here in Korea and for God sake, all day scoldings and preachings happened. We also found out that Momo is the one who told about Chaeng's situation. She said that she can't keep secrets anymore so she said it to Sana. Then Sana said it to Dahyun. Jihyo also forced Momo to confess if she said it also to Mina. But she promised that she didn't say anything to her.

Anyways, Mina's parents gave us a wedding invitation. Mina and that Bambam will having a grand wedding three weeks from now. Also, Chaeyoung got an invitation but he didn't saw it yet. Jihyo threw it up a while ago.

After work, we're all going here at the hospital to visit Chaeyoung. I don't care if it is too tiresome, but it was Chaeng. He needs us.

"Hey, hyung. Someone's looking for you and Chaeyoung." Dahyun said and I quickly looked at him.

"Who?" I asked then I saw a woman behind her.

"Hi Hyung. How are you?" The woman in a pink dress talked to me.

"Somi?" I mumbled.

"We're fine. Since when are you here in Korea?" I asked in awe. I'm just shocked 'coz I thought she's living for good at Canada. She's been divorced but no child.

"Just yesterday Hyung. I accidentally met Chaeyoung's mom yesterday so I decided to pay a visit." She said and sit beside me.

"I'll just leave you two." Dahyun said and I just nod. He walked away afterwards.

"Ahm, can I see Chaeyoung later?" She asked.

"Of course, why not? You're our friend haha." I said and look at her.

"Sure? I'm still a friend to him?" She said as her face changed into a worried one. I know she likes Chaeyoung for a long time.

"Silly, why are you asking like that?" I asked again.

"No-nothing haha. I'll go inside first."

"Sure Somi." I respond and smiled at her.

So weird, why she's asking like that?

Then, I saw Nayeon walking closer to me.

"Oh babe, where did you come from?" I stand up and wipe her forehead. She's sweating.

"Uhh, I'm just not feeling well. I went to the comfort room a while ago. Who are you talking to?" She asked.

"Ah, that girl? She's Somi. Our childhood friend. Ahm, you sure you're okay now? Let's get a check up on you " I replied and hold her waist.

"No, I'm fine now. Don't worry. Can I something babe?" She looked at my eye.

"Yeah sure. What is it?" I asked and furrowed my eyes.

"That girl you called Somi is whom I pertaining to, last time. The one Chaeyoung was kissing before Mina got into an accident." She said.

"What? Somi is just his friend. What are you talking about?" I said and removed my arms around her waist.

"No babe, I'm telling the truth. I'm not lying though. I clearly saw it. That girl is what I'm talking about." Nayeon said and hold Jeongyeon hands.

"I know Somi like Chaeyoung but that was a long time ago. But Chaeyoung didn't like her. Maybe, Somi kissed him accidentally." I said.

"Definitely no babe, and why Chaeyoung let her to kiss him huh? That long and on the lips? No friends can do that." Nayeon asked as her eyes widen too much.
