Chapter 28

"OH MY GOD, anak ko!" Hindi ako nakakilos ng tumakbo si mommy mula sa gate ng bahay at dambain ako ng yakap. My lips are trembling and I don't know what should I feel.

Nang mag-umaga na ay umalis kami ni Garry sa lugar nila Sebastian. I thank Seb and his grandparents at ganoon din si Garry. We promise na babalik kami upang kamustahin sila.

Hindi ko na gustong umuwi saamin. I can still vividly remember how Ethan shoot me on my feet. My mother, she was terrified pero wala siyang nagawa.

"I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry. Hindi ko ginusto ang nangyari sa'yo iha. Hindi ko ginusto ang lahat. I love you." She said between her cries. I immediately felt happy hearing those words from her. I know she love me, she is my mom.

Sabi nila mother's knows best. Pero pwede naman siguro na sa ibang pagkakataon masasabi natin na nagkakamali din sila. Sometimes sa kagustuhan nilang mapabuti ang mga anak nila ay napapasama ito. That's why I firmly believe that in making decisions we must involve our kids too. Kasi hindi lang naman ito para sa kanila, para ito sa pangkalahatan. Kung saan sasaya ang lahat.

I hug her back and held back the tears that wanted to burst out.

"It's fine mommy. I forgive you and dad and I love you too." I said and caress her back pero umiling lamang ito at patuloy parin sa pag-iyak.

"I saw with my own eyes when Ethan shoot you. Akala ko hindi na kita makikita. Hindi ako naging mabuting ina sa'yo. I'm a sinner. Forgive me, forgive me." Saad nito na ikinabahala ko.

Mommy didn't do something that will hurt me. Her love did. Mahal na mahal niya si daddy at takot siyang hindi masunod ang gusto nito. Ethan too, he love me so much that he even aimed his gun to stop me from running away from him.

Minsan talaga ang pag-ibig nakakasama.

"Shh. It's alright mom. Wala kang kasalanan. Walang may kasalanan. Kalimutan na po natin lahat. Ang importante ay ligtas ako at mag kakaapo na kayo." Agad na humiwalay si mommy saakin at gulat na nagtatanong ang mga mata nito. She look at Garry and me. Palipat-lipat ito. Maya-maya pa'y umiiling na lumapit si mommy kay daddy.

Agad akong binalot ng kaba. Are they still against us?

"We are going to be a grandma and grandpa! Roxanne is pregnant!" Masayang wika ni mommy kay daddy. Garry hug my waist as my dad looks at us adorably.

Maya-maya pa lumapit si dad saakin kaya binitawan ako ni Garry.

Oh how I love closure. It shouts new beginning.

"Roxanne, anak." He murmured then hug me. I also hug him back so tight.

"Alam kong naging sukdulan ang pagkontrol ko sa'yo. Your life was in danger because of my decisions. I am so sorry." He said and sighed deeply.

"Wala akong ibang hinangad kundi ang mapabuti ka. Ngunit sa paghangad kong iyon ay napasama ka. If a Jones will make you happy I will gladly accept it. Me and your mom." Agad akong napahiwalay kay daddy at humalik sa pisngi niya.

I am expecting this. Yes. Pero iba parin pala talaga kung nasa actual na. Na naririnig mo na ito mula sa mga labi nila.

"Thank you dad. Thank you mom. You made me happy. So much." I said

Dad kissed my forehead at inakbayan ako.

Tumingin kami kay Garry na nakangiti saamin.

Mom step up towards us at napagitnaan nila ako.

"We are so sorry for all the heartaches we cause Garrison, anak." Dad said that made Garry's eyes red. Oh! I'm sure he is on verge of crying but he manage to control it.

"It's alright dad. Let's forget about it. Let's start a new beginning." He said at nilahad ang kamay niya saakin.

I looked at dad and mom for permission and both of them smile. I held my tummy and accept his hand.

"And let me start this new beginning by asking your daughters hand, dad, mom." Saad nito pero mommy at daddy na ang tawag kina mom ha. What a playful. I giggle because of it.

I didn't imagine na gagawin pang romantic ni Garry ang paghingi sa kamay ko. Kasi diba, I am already bearing his child. We already did it so many times and amidst all what happened, he is still as gentle as he is.

"Huwag mong sasaktan ang anak ko, doon palang payag na payag na ako."

"Mga anak," Dad said with authority.

"I and your mom is giving you our blessings." He said that made Garry hug me. We hug each other because of the joy we both felt.

"Thank you mom, dad. I love you." I said.

"We love you too anak." She replied.

EVERYTHING seems in accordance. I am one month pregnant. Garry is holding the sonogram of our baby. Though hindi pa masyadong halata si baby pero laking ligaya ang nadama namin. I can feel that Garry is a proud daddy. I am too.

"We're doing our wedding as soon as possible." Saad ni Garry at ibinigay ang sonogram kay Howard.

"Saan naman ang baby dito?" Takang tanong nito. Agad siyang binatukan ni Calton.

"Gago! Ayan o!" He snap and point the picture. Napa tango naman si Howard.

"Ang saya naman, happy ending na si papa Garry at Roxy." Saad ni Travis. I smile at him.

Oh my god, until now I can't get over how I act in front of them. They are my good friends. Mas close pa yata ako sa kanila kesa kay Garry. You know, woman are more sweet friends unlike men. They treat me as a princess but Garry doesn't see this as a threat. In fact, he loves how his friends love me too.

"Kayo kasi maghanap na kayo ng girlfriends niyo tapos buntisin niyo agad." I said and laughed.

"Hah! Ayoko napaka stressful ng love story niyo. Ayokong magaya sa inyo." Saad ni Ivo at napa hilot pa sa sintido nito.

"I doubt that Ivo. Mukhang ikaw na nga ang susunod na ikakasal e." I mockingly said that made his expression hardened.

"No way! Naku kapag 'yan nagkatotoo Roxy lagot ka saakin." Saad nito ng nagbabanta.

"Dadaan ka muna saakin, Ivo." Saad ni Garry at hinapit ang bewang ko. I move my toungue out and he groaned in annoyance.

"Ewan ko sa inyo." He said and crossed his arms.

"Ah basta sa schedule ng fitting niyo a." I said reminding them about the fitting for our wedding day.

Everything is alright. As long as Garry is on my side I don't fear. I am excited to create our own family and love each other eternity.
