Before ash/ Before villa

Ashton's POV:

"Prettiest" I replied and just that word lit her whole face as she gave me toothy smile. suddenly I was feeling guilty that I should have stayed calm and handled the situation but I couldn't contain my anger.

I don't understand where was this anger coming from? I was never this angry kind of guy and I couldn't help but think how I was before villa. I was always calm with Victoria and Alex. I was never this talkative, I was never this guy who'd bring a girl home and for the first time I called Caroline Ma and that was because of her mom.

Yes, her mom.

Ryan gave me her phone which she forgot in the car and I saw few texts from her mom. I didn't mean to read them but they kept popping up and to be honest they weren't good. I bet it'll upset her so I didn't give it to her.

Her mother was worried but in a rough way. she's too rough on her. from fifty messages one was very harsh, it said " I didn't send you there to fuck around, just pick up your damn phone oh and we're not paying for your rent figure it out by yourself."

I don't know her parent so I'm not going to judge her parents but I couldn't help but think that I have a mom too and she always checks up on me like this but not this roughly but she always did and I always ignored her, shouldn't she deserve love? she was nothing but nice to me all these years and I never did anything for her. I saw her, she thinks I don't know but I know. I saw her, taking cooking classes for me, I saw her trying to cook my favorite dishes, I saw her talking on the phone asking aunt Andrea asking her if she should do this or this for me... it just I never thought of her as a mom but today I thought I should.

She was shocked when she heard ma from my mouth, she clearly didn't expect it and this time I was happy. everything was going perfectly until I saw him. Liam.

*Flashback*

"Why are you here" I roared.

"I'm your broth..'

"Don't give me that shirt" I clutched on his collars and he smirked.

"You need a vacation, Ashton" he spoke.

"I don't need a bloody vacation, just stop playing games, the knights' empire is mine and will be mine" I greeted with my teeth.

"That depends on the father, he'll decide"

"I'll make sure he doesn't give the company to a killer." and threw him away. he was shocked but didn't say anything.

I stepped outside in the loan to calm myself down but villa came down saying she hates me and I kind of threw everything at her.

"What are you thinking?" villa said pulling me out of my thoughts.

"Nothing" I answered and tightened my arm around her shoulder.

"Kids the dinner is ready" mom yelled from the kitchen.

"Should I go and help her? " she looked up.

"Everything's ready and remember you're not drinking wine"

"Not even one sip?" she pulled away from me and pouted.

"Not even a sip"

"Okay," she smiled.
