Because of Amura's power, she easily found Five, who was about to drink his brandy at the Mexican restaurant she and the boy's siblings drank at.
But she took the glass off of the boy's hand, thinking about the Mexican owner being careless about giving minors a drink.
Though the two were actually far from minors.
Five just glared at her, "Why are you here?" He asked, still mad at his siblings.
She just kept quiet and sat on the stool beside him.
"Did you thought you're the only one that was frustrated?" She asked and looked at him with her eyebrows furrowed.
"Of course, I was frustrated too... All that work... We dirtied our hands... And for what? Nothing." She added and looked away, muttering the last bits.
Five's mad eyes turned into soft ones, feeling guilty thinking all about himself, "I'm sorry..." He said.
"You were there for me so that I won't suffer alone and yet, I left you to suffer on your own." He added and sighed.
"Well, that's why I'm here." She looked at him with a soft smile.
"I don't want to suffer alone so I looked for you myself."
He shook his head and smiled as well, "To be honest... I don't really suffer when you're with me."
The girl put on a smug, "Glad my existence pleases you Hargreeves."
The boy just rolled his eyes, feeling better now unlike before, "You being annoying like that cause me suffering." He said which the girl feigned hurt at.
Leaving the two of them to smile at each other.
He never understood how her smile makes him smile as well, or how all the negative thoughts suddenly vanished with just her talking to him.
Maybe her existence really pleases him.
The girl also felt the same, she didn't lied when she said that she was frustrated and yet, just by being with Five, her frustrations vanished.
She never understood it, but whenever they were alone, all the problems disappear for a minute.
That it was actually dangerous.
"So... Now what?" Five asked when he realized that they were in a pinch.
Dead end, no way back to 2019.
Amura kept quiet, trying to think.
Until it came to her, "Five!" She exclaimed that made the boy look at her flustered.
"Tomorrow is the death of JFK..." She added that made him raised an eyebrow at her.
"Yeah... I know, that's why we were in a pinch." And this made the girl roll her eyes at him.
"Our past selves arrive tomorrow too, with a briefcase on them." She finally went straight to the point that widened Five's eyes.
"A way back home..." He muttered.
"The only problem was the paradox psychosis." She began to think deeply, strategizing a plan already.
"We'll just have to go and pray that we don't kill ourselves." He said which made the girl roll her eyes.
"We both don't believe in god old man, and also... I have a plan that could prevent us, on killing ourselves."
"Lay it on." He said and tapped the counter with his finger.
"I'll time travel back to my younger self and take the briefcase to give it to you, but you need to distract yourself first... Or he'll kill us both." This made him raised both of his eyebrows at her which she only rolled her eyes at.
