The three went back to the Academy despite Luther's oppositions, and when they arrived, the two kid looking adults went straight to Five's room.

"Won't you be cold just wearing a vest?" Five asked while he looked through his things in his cabinet.

Amura just watched him while sitting on his bed.

"I can adapt." She shrugged earning a raised eyebrow from Five.

"Here. Wear this underneath." He threw her a black long-sleeved turtleneck.

"Didn't know you had one of these." She looked at it amused.

"Dad experimented on costumes but decided to just stick with the uniform." He closed his closet and sat in front of her.

"So what happened?" He asked looking at her.

She stared back at him and scoffed, "What do you mean?"

"You didn't slept alright when we separated-"

"I did too-"

"Don't lie to me. You can lie at anyone but not to me Amura. Because I can notice."

Amura can't help whatever the heck she was feeling, and just looked away, "I should be the one scolding you for drinking instead of coming to me." She said with pout.

"Well... Yeah, sorry about that. I drink when-"

"-You had the chance, Delores always tells that you do have a drinking problem." Amura chuckled and looked back at him again.

"And when is that?" He asked with a raised eyebrow and a smirk.

"That time at the crumbled Library, you were defending yourself." Five shook his head with a smile, knowing she was right.

"Stop changing the subject and tell me what's wrong." He turned back to his stoic expression.

Amura sighed, "I was feeling lonely, much like the time before I know about you. Kept reminiscing about my past, and how I yearn for normalcy."

"And I can't help but doubt myself, just that, I think I really have gone weak and I couldn't even protect your family, Klaus was held captive and my sight wasn't working, maybe I wouldn't be able to save us from the apocalypse, maybe I'm the one bringing us down-"

"Shut up if you'll only be thinking like that." Five never was angry at her.

Maybe except for that time when he still doesn't trust her.

But still, that was a long time ago.

"You were the one who said that we can do this, that we can save the world-"

"I know... I know... But what if I was wrong?" She asked with glossy eyes.

Five kept quiet and held her cheeks then stared into her eyes.

"We'll do whatever it takes to save the world, we'll prove that you're not wrong. We'll prove that we can do this, there's no such thing as a dead end, alright?" He asked while Amura nodded, the tears finally streamed down her cheeks.

"Go ahead and change, I'll be just outside." He said and removed his grasp on her cheeks.

He was about to leave when Amura called out to him, "Five."

He turned around, "I... Um... Thank you." This was the first time for Five to see her all shy, embarrased and bashful as she was usually composed and hide her embarrassment with anger or just a straight face.

He won't lie, he liked the sight of her like that.

"Anything for you." He finally said with a smile and left, leaving Amura more bothered with her heart beating so fast.
