Amura woke up to a familiar breeze.
A place that she really loved ever since she was a child.
Feeling the sand on her naked feet and smelling the salt water that the ocean waves send to the shore.
She remembered this place.
She remembered that abandoned lighthouse that can be seen not so far away.
She remembered that large rock that she and her mother engraved their names at.
And she remembered that woman who was sitting by the shore, letting the water touch her feet.
"Mom..." She muttered and approached the woman, sitting by her side.
Unlike what she remembered, all the surroundings were black and white. Even her mother was colored like one.
As if they were in a black and white movie, except that Amura was in her 35-year old body and have colors like what she usually looked like.
But in the place full of black and white, she seems to be the one that was out of place.
"Mi Estrella." Isabella looked at her daughter with a smile.
(My Star.)
But the woman was confused, even though she was right in front of her mother.
The person she was longing for.
She felt kind of... Empty.
"Are you not glad to see me?" Isabella asked when Amura didn't uttered a word, nor looked at her.
Just staring at the dull waves.
"Of course I am, Mom... But..." She answered and looked at her mother, "Am I dead?" She asked, cannot believe it herself.
"If they don't find you soon then I suppose you're good as dead." Isabella answered that made the girl look back at the sea.
Her eyes held sadness and longing, "I didn't even got to say goodbye properly." She muttered.
"To who? That boy? Five Hargreeves?" Isabella asked with a smile while looking at her daughter.
Amura didn't uttered a word once more, slowly sinking the situation to her mind.
"He was quite a fine gentleman... I say that he have my blessing." This made Amura whip her head at Isabella.
As if she was mad at her mother, "How can you act like I haven't done anything wrong?" She asked as calm as she could.
The smile on Isabella's face slowly disappeared and just listened to her daughter.
"You saw... Everything that I did with my own two hands. I killed people, may it be a child or a woman, I have killed dozens of innocent people..." Amura took a deep breath, not even noticing the tears that fell on her cheeks.
"And yet, you're acting like I'm still the same as before." She finally looked into her mother's eyes.
That if she weren't black and white, then she'll be staring into her hazelnut orbs.
Isabella just embraced her daughter, slowly stroking her hair.
"I have done things that I'm not proud of as well Amura... I haven't even confessed to you about it... Nor have I apologized to you." She said and released Amura from the embrace, looking at her and wiping her tears.
"Mi Estrella is still the same crybaby." Isabella chuckled but the woman ignored her statement.
"What do you mean that you haven't confessed to me yet? Was this about you sending me to the Umbrella Academy?" Amura asked which her mother shook her head at.
