The three time travelling assassin's went inside the abandoned building.
With Lila laughing in amusement that they got to travel back to this—almost in ruins—place.
"Holy shit. I was just here. How long was I bloody gone?" The woman asked while holding herself because of the cold.
"It seems the grandfather paradox is affecting everything." Amura concluded while looking around much like what her partner was doing.
"Even places out of time." Five added making Lila look at the teens.
"Is that possible?" She asked.
"I stopped tracking what was possible a long time ago, and a certain someone should kept track that nothings normal for us anymore." The boy answered and the brunette just rolled her eyes.
Because she knew that she was the one that her partner was pertaining to.
"We better get moving. I'll check the Infinite Switchboard." The girl said and walked ahead, ignoring the rumbling of the ceiling behind her that almost hit the two.
"And I'll check Herb's office. Little cockroach would survive anything." Lila said and whispered to Five, "You better follow our little ball of anger, you might get a chance to score after all."
The woman's eyes became emerald, that made the boy's eyes widen and Lila grin.
"Bye." She bid the young-looking old man who reddened at that information.
"See ya." Five just said and went to where Amura had gone off to.
"Miss you."
"That's weird." The boy just said.
"Wear protection."
"Can you just—" He didn't even continued his words as Lila finally left.
And so, he just sighed and continued his way to where the brunette is.
And when Five reached the girl who already tried and fixed the Infinite Switchboard.
Who already analyzed what was happening. Who already watched Herb's message.
The boy saw how much Amura seemed to be on the edge, "Amura?" He called out but the brunette was standing in front of the destroyed machine.
"This isn't good Five... There's been a rip in the space-time continuum. It's swallowing everything." The young-looking woman told the boy worried.
Almost in tears.
That Five ignored all his anger and all of his own frustrations to embrace his lover.
"Hey... We can fix this. We can—"
But the girl just pulled away and wiped her tear, "No. Five... The timeline is collapsing. Herb already said this, I... Myself from that timeline already said this... This just might be the end."
Not that soon, Lila arrived that forced Amura to turn her back towards them and compose herself, "I could kill for some scrambled eggs right now."
The brunette faced her adopted sister as if she didn't just teared up, "This is bigger than the timeline, Lila."
"What's bigger than the timeline?" The woman asked.
"The entire universe." Five answered instead.
"The missing dogs, people... It's the opposite of the big bang." The boy concluded.
"Instead of the universe expanding, it's now collapsing in on itself." His lover added.
Which Lila concluded as, "Like a prolapsing rectum."
