Ch. 14

At the Academy, a small and old television was displayed at the living room, for all of them to see what was behind the tape that Luther and Allison saw.

All Hargreeves siblings except for Five were there and also Amura who got bored and decided to pitch in.

Earning a dirty look from Diego.

Vanya was still uncomfortable with her as she seems mad and hated her the last time they met.

While Klaus was the only one trying to warm up to her.

"So what is she doing here? If this is a family meeting?" Diego asked to Luther and Allison.

The girl rolled her eyes, sitting with her arms crossed on the couch.

"For Pete's sake, I would probably become a billionaire everytime one of you siblings ask why I'm here." She exclaimed while the two prepared the tape.

"So why are you here?" The man asked once again making the brunette sigh.

While Klaus and Vanya just watched the scene in front of them.

"So that idiots like you won't do something stupid." She answered him the way how a typical British person say it—'ishchupid'—with no amount of care.

Diego was ready to punch the kid but he was blocked by his brother and sister.

"Hey. Focus." Luther told them before he played the tape while the others walked back to their seats and watched carefully.

Even the 16 year-old girl did too, even though she knew that this detail is not that important.

Unless it might have to do with the apocalypse.

She don't really care at the moment, she got nothing to do anyways.

They watched how the siblings' 'mother figure'—Grace, watch their father die after he drank the tea she gave him, she even took his monocle.

"I mean, do you really think
Mom would hurt Dad?" Vanya asked, not believing what she just watched.

"You haven't been home in a long time, Vanya. Maybe you don't know Grace anymore." Luther's statement made Amura used her power for a moment, looking into his past and seeing the time he spent 4 years living on the moon.

She deactivated it and rolled her eyes, 'He talks big like his size.' The girl thought to herself.

"If he was poisoned, it would have shown in the coroner's report." Diego said who's standing beside Number One with his arms crossed.

"Well, I don't need a report
to tell me what I can see with my own eyes."

"Videos can be fabricated in this time and day, even I—who's not from this timeline—knows that." The brunette stated to Luther who only glared at her.

"Maybe all that low gravity
in space messed with your vision." Number Two made his brother snap out of his glare and pressed something at the small television.

"Look closer. Dad has his monocle. Mom stands up. Monocle's gone.

"Oh, yeah!" Klaus said while chuckling and eating some chips.

He offered some to Amura who, of course, didn't declined.

"She wasn't poisoning him. She was... taking it. To clean it." Diego explained carefully, as if Luther was dumb.

"Then where is it? No, I've searched the house, including her things. She doesn't have it." The larger Hargreeves asked as if he was the real and breathing Sherlock Holmes.
