"You're The Best Thing That Ever Happened To Me" (Part 2)

Chapter 36

                                                                                (Amanda's POV)

  There is a lot of things going in on my life. I honestly cannot wait to see my other best friend get married tomorrow. Rose deserves the best which she has in Matty. The two of them are an incredible and loving couple. I've never seen Rose so happy. Tonight is the dinner rehearsal for them. Rose and Destiny mean a lot to me. They deserve the best and they have that. I'm a very loyal person and family is important to me. I don't know how I would've handled the last two years without them. Destiny and Rose have had my back since then and I've always had theirs. They are family. "I'm so glad that Matty, Ross, and Adam accepted me into the The 1975 family." I tell my husband. George and I just got back from our honeymoon three days ago so we're still in that phase. 

  "You're amazing. You know that?" He says. "I'm glad that they accepted you as well. It's good to know that they love you." 

  "I don't think our relationship would've gotten this far if they didn't. Their opinions matter to you a lot." I say. 

  "That's very true. I know that Rose and Destiny's opinions matter a lot to you as well. Your friends mean a lot to you." He states. "They're your family." 

  "You're my family now too. I am spending the rest of my life with you. Eventually we're going to have our own kids and have that family. I want you to know that you're important to me." I remind him that he is special to me. "I married you because of how in love I am I know we're going to have our challenges but we'll get through them." 

  "We will get through them together. Even if we're mad at each other we'll get through it." He agrees. He means the world to me and the fact that he's trying to cheer me up is awesome. He knows me so well. 

  "That's very true." I say, looking at my husband. "You are amazing." 

  He kisses me on the cheek. "As are you." He says. "Tonight will be interesting." 

  "Why do you say that?" I ask curious to know why he thinks its going to be interesting. 

  "Because of all of us together. I mean I love our friends and I know they'll be amazing together but yeah." He explains. "The guys are excited for the wedding tomorrow." 

  "Are you excited for it cause it doesn't sound like you are." I state, leaning against him. 

   "I am excited for the wedding but they are draining me." He says. "They're physically draining for me. I mean I'm happy for them but I just don't know. Three weddings within six weeks of each other is a lot." 

  "That's true." I agree. "Its exhausting for me as well. I mean I'm on the maids of honor for two of the weddings. I love Rose and Destiny obviously. It is just a lot to do these past six weeks. One more and then we have a break from that for a while." I state. 

  "True. At least we have time before the rehearsal dinner." He agrees with me.
