"You're The Best Thing That Ever Happened To Me" (Part 2)

Chapter 23

                                                                                 (Adam's POV)

  The tour has been going by so fast. We're already two weeks in and I have been missing Destiny like crazy. She is an important person in my life. She is the love of my life and I cannot wait to marry her. There are so many reasons why I love her. I will be spending the rest of my life with an amazing woman by my side. She is the love of my life and I am excited for our wedding. I hate that she isn't here with us on the tour but she is planning our wedding so I can't complain about it too much. "You miss her don't you?" Matty asks me as we are setting up our equipment for tonight's show. Tonight's show is in Cincinnati and it is actually one of my favorite cities to play in. It's always had a special place in my heart ever since we first came here in 2013. Nine years ago. 

  I nod at his question. "Of course I miss my fiance. Planning a wedding is something we should be doing together. I trust her enough to plan it by herself but it's something that we should be doing as a couple." I state. 

  "I know you feel like it is. And you aren't wrong. You have every right to miss her." Ross states. "I miss Becca as well. There is so much going on in my head." 

  "There's always something going on in that head of yours." George teases Ross as he sets up his drums. 

  Ross rolls his eyes. "You mean guys mean a lot to me and I'm lucky to have you. Besides teasing like family is something that family does." He says. 

  I smile at my best friend. The band has so much history has best friends. We've seen each other go through our ups and downs. Seeing each other go through really difficult breakups. Matty has been through the worst of it. He has been through a drug addiction, many heartbreaking breakups, and many other difficult things but he made it though. The lads are my family and they have seen me go through my own struggles. "I love Destiny and I'm ready for our lives together to start." I say. 

  Matty smiles. "You and Destiny are an amazing couple. I'm so excited to see you two get married. I know it will be a beautiful ceremony." 

  George laughs. "Does it feel odd knowing that the three of us are going to be getting married soon? It feels amazing and I'm lucky to have you guys there with me." 

   Ross nods. "You three deserve to have this love in your life. All three of you do. I am so glad you guys found the love you deserve. I'm so excited for the weddings. They'll be beautiful." 

  I couldn't agree more with him. He's right that we deserve the love we have in our lives. There's nothing like the love I have for Destiny. I love playing music but it's a different kind of love. "I'm excited to get married and see what my future holds with her. We've had the conversations that we're supposed to have before getting married. There's nothing I want more than to spend my life with her." I can't contain the happiness on my face. 

  "She loves you with everything in her. You two are an incredible couple. You are so special to her. I have a warning for the two of you though, Don't break their hearts!" Rose warns George and I. She has a slight baby bump showing now.
